Oh No Mary Ann!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DRIGGS, Idaho - Dawn Wells, who played Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island," is serving six months' unsupervised probation after allegedly being caught with marijuana in her car.
She was sentenced Feb. 29 to five days in jail, fined $410.50 and placed on probation after pleading guilty to one count of reckless driving.
Under a plea agreement, three misdemeanor counts -- driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance -- were dropped.

Remembering Emi
Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of my sister Emi's death from malignant breast cancer. She was almost 40 when she died. She was co-valedictorian at GWSHS Class of 1981, greaduated from Mount Holyoke College, and was a MacArthur Fellow at the University of Edinburg (Scotland). She did post-doctoral work at the Mayo Clinic and at Scripps Institute (San Diego, CA). She was an amazing woman...and would have enjoyed getting reacquainted with all of you.Sarah

Vegas Baby is getting closer
I will have all the info by monday. I have signed the contract and put down the deposit at the Tropicana Hotel. There will be an 800 (sorry no 900 number) number to make your own reservations and will pay for your own rooms. If you need something other than a standard room (i.e. king size bed, non smoking, migets, goat pens) let them know when you reserve it. The block we have is 10 rooms, and I think it will fill fast. It is early enough to add on.
We will have time to make arrangements for meeting rooms, catered food, and the like later. I am working with a manager.

We are commited, ( I know I have been commited).

Next week we will be able to reserve our rooms.

When my daughter was young, she noticed that her mom and I were not so happy with one another. She wanted to know why,so she investigated. Went through our room, and then through mommy's purse. She then proudly proclaimed that she knew what the problem was. " mommy's on your drivers licence it said that you got an "F" in sex".
