Happy Birthday George Washington
“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”
“Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples’ liberty teeth.”
“The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference, they deserve a place of honor with all that’s good.”
“Over grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty.”
“The Constitution is the guide which I will never abandon.”
“The Constitution vests the power of declaring war in Congress; therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject and authorized such a measure.”
“The marvel of history is the patience with which men and women submit to burdens unnecessarily laid upon them by their governments.”
“It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible.”
“The time is near at hand which must determine whether Americans are to be free men or slaves.

Vegas, Baby!
Looking out my window at several feet of snow, I'm thinking. . . another Dean Circle Gang reunion in Vegas would be nice about right now. Or, heck, even better Tumuning Bay.

HAFA MERRY CHRISTMAS

My family and I still sing this
Guam Christmas song!
Tradition...pass it on.
Verse AND Chorus!
JUNGLE BELLS:
'Here we are on Guam, without a chance of snow!
Where the trade-winds go, a typhoons sure to blow!
Santa and his sleigh, if the tropics will allow,
instead of driving 8 reindeers, he rides a carabao!
CHORUS:
OH...JUNGLE BELLS, coconut shells,
sticker-burrs all the way!
Oh what fun it is to ride in a carabao-cart today, HEY!'
JUNGLE BELLS, coconut shells,
sticker-burrs all the way!
Oh what fun it is to ride in a carabao-cart today!'

Best Ever
Pinocchio, Snow White, and Superman are out for a stroll in town one day.
As they walk, they come across a sign:
"Beauty contest for the most beautiful woman in the world."
"I am entering!" said Snow White.
After half an hour she comes out and they ask her, "Well, how'd ya do?"
" First Place ," said Snow White.
They continue walking and they see a sign:
"Contest for the strongest man in the world."
"I'm entering," says Superman.
After half an hour, he returns and they ask him, "How did you make out?"
" First Place ," answers Superman. "Did you ever doubt?"
They continue walking when they see a sign:
"Contest! Who is the greatest liar in the world?"
Pinocchio enters.
After half an hour he returns with tears in his yes.
"What happened?" they asked.
"Who the hell is Obama?" asked Pinocchio.

Taxpayer March on Washington
Last September 12, I Marched in Washington with a million other patriots. Despite the almost total blackout of new coverage, it was an historic event. I’m making my plans now for this year’s march and it is more important than ever.
Will you join me?
I’ll drive down on Saturday, stay two nights and drive back early Monday morning. Let me know if you’re interested in a ride. I’m booking at the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport. It is right on the metro line so getting to and from the March will be easy.

Apple Does it Again!
Apple announced today that it has developed a breast implant that can store and play music. The iTit will cost from £499 to £699, depending on cup and speaker size. This is considered a major social breakthrough, because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

Mid Summer Observations
-This has to be the worst week for sports of the year. The highlight of the week is the all star game which is almost as riveting as world cup soccer. TV right now is like the Gobi Desert.
-I was in Biloxi MS last week. You can smell the oil in the water there. People are right. It smells.
-Harvey Pekar died yesterday in Cleveland at the age of 70. True American original literary genius. A tad on the blue side at times but genius nonetheless.
-I really like Red rice w/ finidene. (Thanks Matt)
-Not to get political or anything but there's currently a governors race here in FL. It's just in the primaries and we are daily regaled with ads featuring Rick Scott and Bill McCollum, both Republicans. It is difficult for me to envision two more corn fed self important dick bags than these two. I keep waiting for one of them to accuse the other of having had an affair with a goat or something. Not even out of the primaries and they have spent millions pointing out each others liabilities. Why do people spend millions of their own money for a job that pays in the low six figures? Seems feeble minded to me.
-Jesse Jackson & AL Sharpton are assholes. There, I said it. Playing the offended & oppressed minority card is seriously played. Find a new schtick.
-I listened to Grand Funk Railroad "Closer To Home" on the way to work today. Now that's good music right there. Reminded me of the coconut grove.
Peace out my friends.
