Sister to all serving we love you
You know what is really scary is if you all were put on the same boat or base together. Happy Veterans Day. May your barbecues be the only thing you guys are burning today.
By the way today is 11/11/11.
To my dad USAF '50-'52.
And let's not forget my old skipping buddy Chris Larson, USCG I believe.
On behalf of a grateful nation.
Long live the Republic.
Peace.
and like Doug said lets not forget the dads that
served. My own dad was an aerial photographer
in the marines stationed on Guam right after the
liberation.
Lucky for my Dad the Korean war ended a week before he was due to ship out. He is buried on Guam in the Veterans cemetery in Piti.
Juliet I didn't know your dad was buried on Guam. Love you sister
my dad Lied about his age and joined the army at 16. I can't imagine any of my sons doing that now.
