There's scads of stuff for which to be thankful. Indoor plumbing, velcro, self adhesive stamps, microwave ovens, jack daniels, I could go on but I'll sum it up with gratitude for memory of growing up in a place few would imagine and fewer would understand. Happy Turkey Day to all of you that can relate.
ooh ooh i can relate.Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow circle rats.and might i add a special prayer for Juliet and Hans.shes stuck in the shit again and what a way to spend any day let alone Thanksgiving.
HAPPY BELATED THANXGIVING (with lumpia)! We just have some remnants of leftovers and it's crazy to see living rooms with Christmas trees already!!! I should start telling every1 HAPPY NEW YEAR now!
Yes the social pressure to get the house ready for Christmas is enormous. I still have to shovel out a spot in the living room to resurrect our tree in. We do not even know if we will stay here for Christmas. I have two artificial trees that I bought more than twenty years ago. They are not pre lit and each little branch needs to be straitened and shaped so you can imagine how I keep putting the whole tree thing off. I will post some pictures of the local tree selections and then you all will get why I still battle the ancient artificial one. Some day I am going to have one of those newfangled prelit, pre-shaped Christmas trees.
