Here in Florida we're known for placing these amazing beasts in giant aquariums, dressing someone up to resemble their favorite food, charging admission fees that border on usury while laying odds as to when said captive beast will decide that they have had quite enough of this bullshit. Great photos as always Paul.
Yes it is really sad that the animals that spend their lives roaming the world oceans are stuck in a small tank. I heard the spin after that trainer was killed that these "Sea World" animals are born in captivity. When we were first moving to Guam I remember we stopped in Hawaii for a while and there was a sea life park. I still remember the beautiful Hawaiian girl with all her flower leis sitting on the back of a dolphin as it swam across the pool. I was only six at the time but it did make a life long impression on me. I still want an outfit like her to wear to the beach.lol Really I don't think I knew or understood how smart a fish could be till that experience.
I agree you guys. my son has a 7th grade trip to Sea World 31st this month. Being a florida boy, He's been there many a time. I think it does teach children to respect those beautiful creatures, but on the other hand, unless they are rescue whales, are we really doing them a favor? Poor things, trapped in concrete pools. Gives my kid and I alot to talk about.

Your new pets Spot and Blackie. Do they like to be hand fed?

Gorgeous. I want to be all salt watery again, swimming with the fishes.

You guys should watch The Cove. Truly shocking.
The Cove Paul? never heard of it, but will check it out. Is it sad?
Isn't that a place in Japan where they beat all the dolphins to death and the water turns red from their blood in the "Cove."
Here in New York, “swimming with the fishes” has a whole different meaning!
GREAT SHOTS PAUL!!
Todu mauleg!
