The 3 Old Dudes

Three men were discussing aging at the nursing home.
"Sixty is the worst age to be," said the 60-year-old. You always feel like you have to pee. And most of the time, you stand at the toilet and nothing comes out!"
"Ah, that's nothin'," said the 70-year-old. "When you're seventy, you can't even crap anymore. You take laxatives, eat bran, you sit on the toilet all day and nothin' comes out!"
"Actually," said the 80-year-old, "Eighty is the worst age of all."
"Do you have trouble peeing too?" asked the 60-year- old.
"No, not really. I pee every morning at 6:00. I pee like a racehorse on a flat rock; no problem at all."
"Do you have trouble crapping?" "No, I crap every morning at 6:30."
With great exasperation, the 60-year-old said, "Let me get this straight. You pee every morning at 6:00 and crap every morning at 6:30. So what's so tough about being 80?"
"I don't wake up until 7:00."

Could somebody please define " Fishy "

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

American journalists came home.

Anyone see the coverage of the american journalists finally coming home to their families? They were sentenced to 12 years, hard labor for crossing the border. Former Pres. Clinton made the connection. He got them home! happy ending.

Who's Crying Now?

Obama and his radical socialist machine won the white house by playing up the dissatisfaction with the Bush white house, using classical radical tactics. Now the party of Obama is whining and crying about Americans who are actually paying attention and speaking out:

So (Doug, RAC, Juliet) what do YOU think happened to Detroit?

What ever happened to Detroit?

Detroit has long been an example of what happens when too much government interferes with the free market. In granting subsidies and discriminatory tax breaks to a declining auto manufacturing industry, the local government helped make Detroit too reliable on a single industry that has been on the decline for decades. Unions also contributed to their decline by paying wages and benefits that were unsustainable.

stove finally kicked the bucket...:)

Have a really old stove that was built right into this house, I'm guessing like 50 or more years ago. Mom made many a turkey in that oven. now, only 2 burners work and the large one only goes on high or off. It's so old, we found out no one carries 26 1/2" width stoves anymore. We've been calling around no luck. Any suggestions anyone?...I guess I can live live with 2 burners and I'm trying to look on the bright side....At least I have an excuse now when dinner is burned. :)

What do you see in this photo?

There Will Be A Day album by Jeremy Camp

Speaking of choosing your friends wisely... oops

Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds dropped a bombshell on the Mike Malloy radio show, guest-hosted by Brad Friedman.

In the interview, Sibel says that the US maintained 'intimate relations' with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, "all the way until that day of September 11."

These 'intimate relations' included using Bin Laden for 'operations' in Central Asia, including Xinjiang, China. These 'operations' involved using al Qaeda and the Taliban in the same manner "as we did during the Afghan and Soviet conflict," that is, fighting 'enemies' via proxies. Continue...

Todd and Sarah Palin to divorce?

At least that's the word on the street. If true, it might explain some of her more bizarre behaviour lately.

Juliet, I miss your pics

Sorry, I'm so computer illiterate...I admit it. I'm a dumb blonde. I just wanted to tell Juliet and Paul, I love their pics. I recently bought a cheap camera, but it keeps cutting off peoples heads and arms. ;(

MOTW - Rainy Days

We had a squall come through yesterday, not the hardest I've seen but enough to flood a number of streets and stop most outdoors work. Good day for Coffee and Baileys.

It rained today, a lot

So we go to the coast. Eat 4 dozen oysters, some smoked mullet and bacon wrapped shrimp. Washed down with a few buds and I say let it rain.
And as a side note...that facebook thing is confusing as hell to me.
I'm not meaning to ignore anyone on there it's just I think I need some time to get used to its busyness.

Joke Of The Day

What's the difference between bird flu and swine flu? For bird flu you need tweetment and for swine flu you need oinkment.

And now the flip side
