I sense that the blog is slowing down a bit. Could be that we are all running out of pictures to post, or that our bosses are tired of us showing up late to work. Many of the names seldom or never write anything, some are frequent, while a few of us try to keep it going. Which ever category you are in, I want to thank you for being here whenever you can. I know there is a lot more to be said and shown, more stories to be told and more families yet to be introduced. Christmas time usually generates a lot of family photos. So please keep them coming folks, lets make 2008 the year of the blog. Mahalo and Merry Christmas.

Yeah Dave, you said that so well! As for me, this is a very busy time of the year. I try to view the blog on a daily basis, and contribute when ever I can! Some times I feel that the postings that "I" post are stupid. But then I just say to myself, "we are only comunicating with old friends". This Blog has become a very important part of my life, as was Guam and my childhood growing up there, and all of you on the blog.

As Dave said, "lets make 2008 the year of the blog"!

Ric, please don't ever think that any of your blogs are "stupid". I for one enjoy them all and enjoy that as old friends we can be who we are. I usually view the blog daily too and agree that yes, this time of the year gets crazy, and there's not always as much time to spend enjoying what I like to do including spending time at the computer. I hope everyone will post family photos this holiday season..I look forward to seeing them. And I know some have more old photos yet to be shared.

Thank you Cindy! I owe you...big!!! :)

Yes, this is a busy time of the year for a lot of us. Last night I was over at one of my in-laws (one of the cool ones that I dig and can really tolorate! Brother Dave, I was at my sister in laws house, Brenda, the sexy nurse). We did the Christmas Tree, hanging the tinsels on the tree thing. Had a few pics taken of me, the wife and the niece. Got it on the camera. I just don't know how to transfer it from the camera to the blog? (That is my wife's department...technology stuff).

Will post it soon!

Christmas on Guam was always a highlight of the year. As you all remember, if you wanted anything good, you had to order from Wards, Sears and JCP. It took 6-8 weeks to get to Guam. So when the Christmas catalogs came out, You had to pick and choose quickly. Of course that wasn't hard for me, I wanted everything in the GI Joe section.
Before you knew it(Christmas Day) we would be dragging GI Joe behind our bikes around the circle. He would get mangled up with road rash, but that was OK.
Amy Had a real cool Barbie car she let me borrow, GI Joe put some miles on it behind by bike. I don't think Amy liked how GI Joe was driving, so she took it back. Girls were just no fun!(at that age)

I remember in 6th grade we had Chamarro class at school, and the teachers taught us white guys Silent Night in Chamarro. I still remember it too, well maybe not all of it.
Have a Very Merry Christmas Gang!

As far as visiting the site, I've been busy lately too. Will write some more stories later. Seems after I write one, another comes to mind, then I forget it. (Alsheimers again.....I'd better quit joking about that, Its a reality now at our age.)
Ok It's 12:10 am eastern time. time to sign off. Later.

Dan, we must have been in the same 6th grade class! And for every story I post, I remember another one too that I want to post/share. This is a nutty time of the year, and I'm sure we are all very busy!
