Christmas time is the best time of the year for me! And Christmas music is my favorite of all music! A side from the conventional/ traditional Christmas music, I have a list of music that really gets me into the Christmas Spirit:
1. "All alone on Christmas" by Darlene Love
2. "Step into Christmas" by Elton John
3. "Father Christmas" by Greg Lake (this song sends chills up and down my spine)
4. "Christmas time" by Bryan Adams

I must be out of the loop. To many years in non christian countries. I don't know any of these. But I will check them out on some download site.
Ric..I always loved my parents old Glen Campbell exmas album and I also love stevie wonders exmas songs.
Glen Campell...forgot about him until you mentioned his music! What a voice and good Christmas songs that he sang! Stevie Wonder is one of my favorite singers, but don't recall any Christmas music that he sang...but since you said that he sang them, must be great!
I like the Miller Lite commercial with music from the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Harry Belafonte and James Taylor are my favorite Christmas CDs
I can recomend a funny Christmas Movie, Bad Der Santa. the unrated version with Billy bob Thornton. Not for young kids though.
Hey Doug, anything by Trans Siberian Orchestra is awesome!!! Miller Lite is good too! I miss the Miller Lite Ice they use to sell.
Bah humbug, I say.
Hey RAC'ster, you would probably enjoy the song "Father Christmas by the Kinks', not the one by Greg Lake!
i remember caroling in dean cicle at christmas. going house to house picking up more carolers.even having cookies and hot chocolate at a few places along the way. always had the best christmases on guam. wish we could christmas carol again together. the carpenters sang a really nice christmas song but cant remember the name. love let snow let snow let snow. went crazy for snow when we first moved to oregon beings i never saw it before lol
Oh RAC, I have the album, but am too lazy to go down to the basement to look for it. But you would love the two Canadians "aey", who made the move Fresh Brew". They have a song called the 12 days of Christman that ends in "a beer". If some one has it on computer, post it.
Hey Doug, did you know that the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is actuall the failed Heavy Metal Rock Group from the 80's & 90's...'Sabatach'?
They have surely matured and come along way with there music!
Cindy, my wife loves James Taylor music also.
