Are you smarter than a 3rd grader?

Today's civics question:
What, if any are the constitutionally mandated responsibilities of the Vice President of the United States?
No cheating now.  Just go ahead and give it your best shot.  More later.

Perhaps the tried and true "multiple choice" is in order.
a). maintain control of and set policy for the US Senate
b). provide close support and policy expertise to the chief executive in order to make everything better
c). ensure that everyone has brushed and flossed before bedtime
d). provide the tie breaking vote in the event of a 50-50 tie in the US Senate. Be in a ready and able position to assume the office of President in the event of the Presidents death, resignation or incapacitation.
e). Think of really cool names for children
f). none of the above
g). all of the above except C and E

To shoot your hunting partner in the face?

Good one Dave. In some cases an idea not without some merit. Keep 'em coming people. Need a more representative sampling.

HAHAHa Hmmm Palin is handy with a gun. Uh... how about participating in "Spelling Bees" for words like Potato(Dan (Quail)sp?).

I would take Dan Quayle over Sarah Palin any day.

Palin any day over Quayle! As for Qualye, there is no correlation between spelling and intelect. Actually, poor spellers have proven to be more intellectual than good spellers in the english lingo. Heck, I'm from Idaho and still can not spell potata, potato, potatoe...what ever? It tastes good when you eat it!

As with handy with the gun, I don't think our current VP is a bad shot after all. A dude from Montana never misses a shot! He just got away with this one! ;)

So Doug, what is the correct answer to the question?

Rumor has it Gov. Palin has accepted the inevitable and is gearing up for a run at the White House in 2012. That should help ease the pain for some of her closest fans. Plus it might give her some time to brush up of a few things... like the Constitution. Palin in 2012

"D" is the correct answer. And if you answered correctly you know more than a current candidate for the office.

Palin should be the 'poster child' for the 'womens rights movement'! Her only disqualification is that she is beautiful (smoke'n hot)! ;)

Amazing things are suppose to happen in the year 2012!

For Doug's multiple choices: D

But I have another choice:

Look good when the prez gives his State of the Union speech?
