Westchester County, the highest taxed County in the USA (where I live) will no longer be under Democratic authority, as of tonight!

My vote did matter after all!

"GOP went New Jersey too?"

What exactly does one do when one goes "New Jersey"?

A sign of things to come. Americans are sick and tired of the crap coming out of "progressive" mouths and their destructive policies, on both sides of the isle. It's time to put our founding fathers back in charge. More to follow.

Our founding fathers, really? Aren't they, like, um kind of dead? I mean I like the guys and all it just seems kind of morbid to put a moldering corpse in a position of responsibility like that.

So by "Americans" can I assume you mean ultra right-wing conservatives?

BTW, the conservative candidate endorsed by Palin, Beck and Limbaugh lost yesterday in New York (and this for a seat held by republicans since the end of civil war). I wonder if that means Americans are sick and tired of the crap coming out of "conservatives" mouths?

Yep. Cut through the spin coming from both sides and this is more about the economy than any ideological shift of the people.
The media and Wall Street may be saying that the recession is over but the average middle class schmo knows better. Truth is it sucks and right or wrong the ruling party gets the blame.
There were four Congressional seats up for grabs yesterday, each party one two. Hardly any sort of mid term mandate.

yeah, I love and respect our founding fathers and all, but don't care to see them come back....oooh, nightmares! Did they come back Dave? LOL. I'll have to cuddle with my cat tonight....(unless you're available:)

Doug said...

Oops! That should say each party "won" two. My bad.

There was one clear winner yesterday... weed. Mary-Jane won in every election she ran in.

weed. Not ashamed here. If it was legal, I would smoke it. (excellent stress reliever). In the old days, booze was outlawed. Look what happened. I betcha pot will be legal and taxed too someday. Damn, I hope I'm not too old to cash in.
