Speaking of Detroit

I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of things but nothing could prepare me for what I saw this weekend in Detroit. If you've never been there I can tell you it is every stereotype you've ever heard. Miles and miles of ghetto lined streets lead to the heart of this run down city on the Detroit River. The sad part is it obviously was once a beautiful and thriving metropolis. Now the once grand homes of America's upper class sit in utter decay serving only as crack houses and squatter shacks. It is such a massive cesspool I wonder if it can ever be fixed; at least not with anything less than its complete destruction. Oddly, you can stand in the middle of all this mess and see a thriving and beautiful Canadian city just a mile or so away across the river. I have to wonder where it all went so wrong? How could America loose an entire city?

Man arrested for having sex with a horse

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- A South Carolina man has been arrested for having sex with a horse after police say the animal's owner caught him on surveillance camera.

Police say this isn't the first time 50-year-old Rodell Vereen has been charged with buggery -- last year he pleaded guilty to having sex with the same horse and was placed on the state's sex offender list.

Police arrested Vereen on Monday, when he returned to the stable 20 miles northeast of Myrtle Beach where owner Barbara Kenley says a camera caught him having sex with her horse earlier this month. This time she was waiting for him with a shotgun and says she thought about shooting him but didn't want to go to prison.

Vereen is in jail. His brother says he has mental problems and may not have been taking his medicine.

Obama's Waterloo???

Obama wants a health-care bill on his desk before the August recess.
It is the Democrats in Congress that will not allow this to happen. Obama wanted it done before the break so that the Congress men and women would not hear dissenting views from their constituents.
Obama was defeated by his own party. The Republicans have no power to stop any legislation.
Rasmussen poll indicates that the majority of Americans appose President Obama's health-care plan.
It also shows that 78% think it will increase middle-class taxes.
Obama's 1 hour infomercial on his socialized health-care failed. It is what brought the majority against him.
I believe there will be reform, but not socialized health care, like Israel has. I don't' want that, and nether does most Americans.

Obama is the Nations leading law enforcement officer???

Yes, Obama's remark about the Cambridge Police acting "stupidly" is upsetting to many.
The Fraternal Order of Police are upset about the remark before an investigation.
Commissioner Robert Haas defends the arresting officer and said that Obama should have kept his 'comments' to himself.

The Budweiser Story
(not a joke)
This is TRUE.

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those
who died on the 11th of September, 2001.
Thought you might like to know what happened
in a little town north of Bakersfield , California.

(After you finish reading this,
please forward this story on to others
so that our nation and people around the world
will know about those who laughed
when they found out about the tragic events
in New York , Pennsylvania , and the Pentagon.
On September 11th).

A Budweiser employee was making a delivery
to a convenience store in a California town
named McFarland.
He knew of the tragedy that had occurred
in New York when he entered the business
to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval
and support of this treacherous attack.
The Budweiser employee went to his truck,
called his boss and told him
of the very upsetting event!
He didn't feel he could be in that store with those
horrible people. His boss asked him,
'Do you think you could go in there long enough
to pull every Budweiser product and item
our beverage company sells there?
We'll never deliver to them again.'
The employee walked in,
proceeded to pull every single product his
beverage company provided and left
with an incredible grin on his face.
He told them never to bother to call for
a delivery again.
Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice
for that community.
Just letting you know how Kern County
handled this situation. And Now
The Rest Of The Story:

It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man
are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him.
Pepsi called his boss who told him to
pull all Pepsi products as well!
That would include Frito Lay, etc.
Furthermore, word spread and
all vendors followed suit! At last report,
the store was closed indefinitely.
If you can read this.
Thank a teacher.
If you are reading it in English....
THANK A SOLDIER!!!
If you do not send thisyou have no soul!

One for you Mat

President Obama to replace incandescent light bulbs in the white house with the compact fluorescent light bulb. www.whitehouse.gov/.../remarks-by-the-president-on-Energy/

Okay sounds good on the surface, but the problem with them is the Mercury they contain. If they are disposed of in the trash, they will make their way into a land fill (with Mat's oil). This will leach the Mercury into the water table. If on the other hand you aren't Mat and want to recycle them, that cost a lot of money and Mercury is like Asbestos, must be handled by approved facilities. This will cost the taxpayer a lot of money. The Mercury has to be separated and contained as a hazardous material. I had a Hazmat endorsement for many years and just hauling the stuff is difficult enough, but the cost to handle it and recycle it is astronomical.
I checked Home Depot and the cost per bulb is:

60 Watt incandescent is: .30 cents each
60 Watt comparable fluorescent is: $2.00 each

So, they would have to last almost seven times as long and have to be recycled properly.

So Mat, all that Mercury will sit with your oil and leach into the ground. We are all going to die!

I just realized

the reunion was one year ago.

Debating sucks on this blog man!

As I have mentioned before, I will not debate on this blog ‘political issues’ any further. I will post my opinions though. I won’t debate them, because how can one debate with those that won’t, or you can’t reason with? You just can’t! The point becomes mute. Besides, I have 2 younger brothers that are much smarter than I on this topic (Sean and DRL).

What a culture! What a country! WTF!

TEHRAN, Iran — Members of Iran's feared Basij militia forcibly marry female virgin prisoners the night before scheduled executions, raping their new "wives" and making it religiously acceptable to execute them, a self-professed member of the paramilitary group said.

The anonymous militiaman told the Jerusalem Post that at age 18 he was "given the 'honor' to temporarily marry young girls before they were sentenced to death."

In the Islamic Republic of Iran it is illegal to execute a woman if she is a virgin, the former guard told the newspaper. So the government arranges "wedding" ceremonies to be conducted the night before executions, and prisoners are forced to have sexual intercourse with a guard.

Raped by her new "husband," a female prisoner is now fit to be put to death.

Word of the Day: Neuroticism

Neuroticism: is a fundamental personality trait in the study of psychology. It can be defined as an enduring tendency to experience negative emotional states. Individuals who score high on neuroticism are more likely than the average to experience such feelings as anxiety, anger, guilt, and clinical depression. They respond more poorly to environmental stress, and are more likely to interpret ordinary situations as threatening, and minor frustrations as hopelessly difficult. They are often self-conscious and shy, and they may have trouble controlling urges and delaying gratification. Neuroticism is related to emotional intelligence, which involves emotional regulation, motivation, and interpersonal skills. It is also considered to be a predisposition for traditional neuroses, such as phobias and other anxiety disorders.

Prime Minister Netanyahu tells Obama to stay out of Israel's politics.

Obama wants Israel to give up land, again. Remember when President Clinton talked Israel into giving up land for the Palestinians? Bill Clinton said that it would lead to peace. Diplomacy is all that was needed for peace. Look at the place now. It took a wall to get some semblance of peace, and still the Palestinians attack Israel on a constant basis.
Now, Israel wants to build there people (yes it consists of Palestinians too) housing, and Obama tried to tell Israel how to conduct its business. I am glad Israel has the fortitude to tell Obama to shove off.

America was Israels only allie, until now. Obama has taken out of that roll. I knew that Obama cares more for the Muslim world than the Jewdao/Christian world. If Israel needs an allie to fight a war, I would hope we would have been on the front line with them. Obama will support the other side.

Date night.

While many Americans can't afford health care, food, medication, vacations, and yes, even date night, Obama spent more than $250,000 of these same Americans tax money to go on his date night.
How is it that he cares about the poor in America when he is frivolous with tax payer money.
The house he lives in has every thing for a date night, and he still goes on a spending spree with our money. Obama does not want 'change'. He will spend unearned money like it is his. He will continue to take his family on overseas vacations when most Americans can't afford to go on a vacation at all.

Choices for healthcare providers

Do doctors and hospitals have any choice about Medicare or are they forced to accept it, even at a loss? Does this not raise the costs for the rest of us?

Will doctors and hospitals have any choice about Obamacare or will they also be forced to accept it, no matter what?

ANALYSIS: States Hit Hardest by Recession Get Least Stimulus Money

The stimulus bill "includes help for those hardest hit by our economic crisis," President Obama promised when he signed the bill into law on Feb. 17. "As a whole, this plan will help poor and working Americans."

But FOXNews.com has analyzed data tracking how the stimulus money is being given out across the 50 states and the District of Columbia, and it has found a perverse pattern: the states hardest hit by the recession received the least money. States with higher bankruptcy, foreclosure and unemployment rates got less money. And higher income states received more.

Continued

Obama says: Don't let anyone fool you, the stimulus has done its job.

I wonder, exactly what job is that? Unemployment at 9.5% (he promised a max of 8%). Stock market is still tanked. Job losses are continuing.

Gotta get those 20-somethings and rich people

It isn't about making sure everyone has healthcare, it is about making sure everyone is paying into the system. Now Obama admits that he favors mandated healthcare insurance for every American (including, I suppose the squatters). This means your adults in the 20's and it also means the truly rich who don't need insurance to see a doctor, buy prescriptions or pay for surgery. It is all about getting more money into the pool and under the influence of big government.

Dr. LaPook: Ultimately, philosophically, do you believe that each individual American should be required to have health insurance?

President Obama: I have come to that conclusion. During the campaign, I was opposed to this idea because my general attitude was the reason people don't have health insurance is not because they don't want it, but because they can't afford it. And if you make it affordable, then they will come. I've been persuaded that there are enough young uninsured people who are cheap to cover, but are opting out. To make sure that those folks are part of the overall pool is the best way to make sure that all of our premiums go down. I am now in favor of some sort of individual mandate as long as there's a hardship exemption. If somebody truly just can't afford health insurance even with the subsidies that the government is now providing, we don't want to double penalize them. We want to phase this in, in a way that we have time to make sure that coverage is actually affordable before we're saying to people "go out and get it."

Stop Obamacare. If not for your children, then do it for your parents

April 29, David Leonhardt interview - "I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here. …you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now."

POTW - The Chinese are way ahead of us...

I wonder how heavy it is when it's fully open.

Redneck farm kid in the Marine Corps

Dear Ma and Pa,
I am well. Hope yo are. Tell brother Walt and brother Elmer the Marine Corps beats working for old man Minch by a mile. Tell them to join up quick before all of the places are filled.
I was restless at first because you get to stay in bed till 6 a.m., but I am getting so I like to sleep late. Tell Walt and Elmer all you do before breakfast is smooth your cot, and shine some things. No hogs to slop, feed to pitch, mash to mix, wood to split, fire to lay. Practically nothing.
Men got to shave but it is not so bad, there's warm water.
Breakfast is strong on trimmings like fruit juice, cereal, eggs, bacon, etc., but kink of weak on chops, potatoes, ham, steak, fried eggplant, pie and other regular food, but tell Walt and Elmer you can always sit by the two city boys that live on coffee. Their food, plus yours hold you till noon when you get fed again.
It's no wounder these city boys can't walk much.
We go on 'route marches, which the platoon Sargent says are long walks to harden us. If he thinks so, it's not my place to tell him different. a 'route march is about as far as to our mailbox at home. Then the city guys get sore feet and we all ride back in trucks.
The sergeant is like a school teacher. He nags a lot.
This next will kill Walt and Elmer with laughing. I keep getting medals for shooting. I don't know why. The bulls-eye is near as big as a chipmunk head and don't move, and it ain't shooting at you like the Higgett boys at home. All you got to do is lie there all comfortable and hit it. You don't even load your own cartridges, they come in a box.
Then we have what they call hand-to-hand combat training. You get to wrestle with them city boys. I have to be real careful though, they break real easy. It ain't like fighting with that ole bull at home. I'm about the best they got in this except for that Tug Jordan form over in Silver Lake. I only beat him once. He joined up the same time as me, but I'm only 5' 6" and 130 pounds and he's 6'8" and near 300pounds dry.
Be sure to tell Walt and Elmer to hurry and join before other fellers get onto this setup and come stampeding in.

Question of the Day

Why do you think the Republican party went from complete control of Congress and the Presidency to being completely powerless in just a few short years? Was it because of bad philosophy, poor leadership, or something entirely different?

Government should take care of us because _______

Why don't you lefties list why Americans are unable to provide for themselves and their families and therefore must be subsidized and taken care of by the government. What are the reasons that so many millions should continue to depend on support from this nanny state you are building? What exactly is the problem with these people?

Don't kid yourselves that I'm the mean spirited one, here. It is you, after all, who has declared that millions cannot provide for themselves and must have government help. So, what's wrong with them?

Hey, no fair

I see that Rush Limbaugh used my bumper sticker slogan in his mailing today:

Obama Lied, The Economy Died

Petition to Congress

I stand for real health care reform
To members of the U.S. House and Senate,

As medical professionals, we see patients struggling every day with the rapidly rising cost of health care. We see patients unable to get the care they need because they can't afford their premiums. We see patients who need medical attention denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions. We see families living in fear of losing their coverage if they get laid off from work.

These problems are getting worse, not better. They are preventing us from administering the kind of care we were trained to provide and that all patients deserve.

As medical professionals, we are asking you to support a strong public health insurance option in health care reform this year. We believe a public health insurance plan will help guarantee quality, affordable health care for everyone and be a major step in improving our health care system for patients and doctors.

Our patients need a “R.E.A.L.” public health insurance option that meets the following key criteria:

Right away: Every day we wait on real reform, health care costs continue to rise. A strong public health insurance option right out of the gate is key. Proposals that would delay implementation for years—like the so-called “trigger”—would undermine the public option’s potential to help control costs and provide widespread care.

Everyone: A strong public health insurance option should be widely available and a core piece of an overall reform plan that will help guarantee access to quality health care for everyone in America.

Accountable: To ensure it's held to the highest standards of accountability, a public health insurance option must be publicly accountable and transparent to Congress and to voters.

Large enough to lower costs: In order to truly control costs, a public health insurance option must be available nationwide with a broad network of providers so that it is competitive and able to bargain on a level playing field with private plans.

Proposals lacking these elements—like plans for small, regional, private “co-ops”—are not adequate substitutes.

Our patients cannot afford to wait any longer for the care they need. As medical professionals, we strongly urge Congress to give Americans the choice of a real public health insurance plan —one that will help ensure all patients can get the high quality, affordable health care they deserve.

Just shut up, bend over and take it

If "dissention is the greatest form of patriotism" (as seen on countless liberal's bumper stickers when Bush was in office), then what is suppression of dissent?

Obama's speech July 13 on Healhcare:

“I just want to put everybody on notice, because there was a lot of chatter during the week that I was gone: We are going to get this done,” the president said. “Inaction is not an option. And for those naysayers and cynics who think that this is not going to happen, don't bet against us.”

“The status quo on health care is no longer an option for the United States of America,” the president said. “This is no longer a problem we can wait to fix. This is about who we are as a country. Health care reform is about every family's health, but it's also about the health of the economy.”

What a load of shite.

How's this for a champion's legacy?

Police investigating the death of former boxing champion Arturo Gatti are working on the assumption his wife strangled him with her purse strap while he drunkenly slept. The woman's lawyer, however, insists she is innocent and was too "fragile" to kill a boxer.

English chosen for EU standard,

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

What do you get when you mix Barney Frank & Ron Paul?

Introduced by Barney Frank.

HR 2943 IH

111th CONGRESS

1st Session

H. R. 2943
To eliminate most Federal penalties for possession of marijuana for personal use, and for other purposes.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

June 18, 2009
Mr. FRANK of Massachusetts (for himself, Ms. BALDWIN, Mr. PAUL, Mr. ROHRABACHER, and Mr. HINCHEY) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A BILL
To eliminate most Federal penalties for possession of marijuana for personal use, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the `Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults Act of 2009'.

SEC. 2. ELIMINATION OF CERTAIN MARIJUANA-RELATED PENALTIES.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no penalty may be imposed under an Act of Congress for the possession of marijuana for personal use, or for the not-for-profit transfer between adults of marijuana for personal use. For the purposes of this section, possession of 100 grams or less of marijuana shall be presumed to be for personal use, as shall the not-for-profit transfer of one ounce or less of marijuana, except that the civil penalty provided in section 405 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 844a) may be imposed for the public use of marijuana if the amount of the penalty does not exceed $100.

The lock-up-your-opponents bills of 2009?

Rep. Alcee Hastings - the impeached Florida judge Nancy Pelosi tried to install as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee until her own party members rebelled - introduced an amendment to the defense authorization bill that gives Attorney General Eric Holder sole discretion to label groups that oppose government policy on guns, abortion, immigration, states’ rights, or a host of other issues. In a June 25 speech on the House floor, Rep. Trent Franks, R-AZ, blasted the idea: “This sounds an alarm for many of us because of the recent shocking and offensive report released by the Department of Homeland Security which labeled, arguably, a majority of Americans as ‘extremists.’”

Another Hastings bill (HR 645) authorizes $360 million in 2009 and 2010 to set up “not fewer than six national emergency centers on military installations” capable of housing “a large number of individuals affected by an emergency or major disaster.” But Section 2 (b) 4 allows the Secretary of Homeland Security to use the camps “to meet other appropriate needs” - none of which are specified. This is the kind of blank check that Congress should never, ever sign.

It’s not paranoid to be extremely wary of legislation that would give two unelected government officials power to legally declare someone a “domestic terrorist” and send them to a government-run camp.

Obamateurism of the Day

From Reuters: Referring to the long history of Russia-U.S. trade stretching back more than two centuries, Obama told an audience of business people in Moscow:

“Along the way, you gave us a pretty good deal on Alaska. Thank you.”

Czar Alexander II’s sale of Alaska to the United States in 1867 for $7.2 million in gold, around 1.9 cents per acre, was regarded by Russians as a national disgrace — particularly once it became clear that the province was rich in oil.

Federal Government Was Culprit in Housing and Economic Crisis, Says Congressional Report

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were the chief culprits in the housing crisis because they encouraged people who could not afford payments to borrow money, according to a congressional report released Tuesday.

But, they still don't admit any responsibility (Barney Frank is AGAIN encouraging Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to lower lending standards). This hindsite doesn't even approach 20/20.

Obama "miss read" the economy!!!

Obama does not know what he is doing with the economy. More jobs have been lost and unemployment is at its highest rate in 26 years (and still rising, showing no stopping).
Obama has fired more than 21,000 people.
Stimulus package is not helping, but hurting the economy.
This is what a socialist dreams are made of. The more people dependant on the government, the more power the government has over the people.
Obama has raised taxes on the poorest Americans, a campaign promise broken.

InspectorGeneralGate Update: AmeriCorps stonewalls questions of White House involvement in IG firing

THIS is the new transparency in government?

A top official of the Corporation for National and Community Service, the government agency that oversees AmeriCorps, has refused to answer questions from congressional investigators about the White House's role in events surrounding the abrupt firing of inspector general Gerald Walpin.

Frank Trinity, general counsel for the Corporation, met with a bipartisan group of congressional investigators on Monday. When the investigators asked Trinity for details of the role the White House played in the firing, Trinity refused to answer, according to two aides with knowledge of the situation.

"He said that's a prerogative of the White House, so he didn't feel at liberty to disclose anything regarding White House communications," says one aide.

Interesting trivia of Independence Day.

How many of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776 can you name?
Go off memory, not off google.

Email Received Today

Cindy --
This weekend, our family will join millions of others in celebrating America. We will enjoy the glow of fireworks, the taste of barbeque, and the company of good friends. As we all celebrate this weekend, let's also remember the remarkable story that led to this day.

Two hundred and thirty-three years ago, our nation was born when a courageous group of patriots pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to the proposition that all of us were created equal.

Our country began as a unique experiment in liberty -- a bold, evolving quest to achieve a more perfect union. And in every generation, another courageous group of patriots has taken us one step closer to fully realizing the dream our founders enshrined on that great day.

Today, all Americans have a hard-fought birthright to a freedom which enables each of us, no matter our views or background, to help set our nation's course. America's greatness has always depended on her citizens embracing that freedom -- and fulfilling the duty that comes with it.

As free people, we must each take the challenges and opportunities that face this nation as our own. As long as some Americans still must struggle, none of us can be fully content. And as America comes ever closer to achieving the perfect Union our founders dreamed, that triumph -- that pride -- belongs to all of us.

So today is a day to reflect on our independence, and the sacrifice of our troops standing in harm's way to preserve and protect it. It is a day to celebrate all that America is. And today is a time to aspire toward all we can still become.

With very best wishes,

President Barack Obama

The Great American Bubble Machine

Matt Taibbi on how Goldman Sachs has engineered every major market manipulation since the Great Depression.

The first thing you need to know about Goldman Sachs is that it's everywhere. The world's most powerful investment bank is a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money.

Any attempt to construct a narrative around all the former Goldmanites in influential positions quickly becomes an absurd and pointless exercise, like trying to make a list of everything. What you need to know is the big picture: If America is circling the drain, Goldman Sachs has found a way to be that drain — an extremely unfortunate loophole in the system of Western democratic capitalism, which never foresaw that in a society governed passively by free markets and free elections, organized greed always defeats disorganized democracy.

They achieve this using the same playbook over and over again. The formula is relatively simple: Goldman positions itself in the middle of a speculative bubble, selling investments they know are crap. Then they hoover up vast sums from the middle and lower floors of society with the aid of a crippled and corrupt state that allows it to rewrite the rules in exchange for the relative pennies the bank throws at political patronage. Finally, when it all goes bust, leaving millions of ordinary citizens broke and starving, they begin the entire process over again, riding in to rescue us all by lending us back our own money at interest, selling themselves as men above greed, just a bunch of really smart guys keeping the wheels greased. They've been pulling this same stunt over and over since the 1920s — and now they're preparing to do it again, creating what may be the biggest and most audacious bubble yet.

Anyone catch O'Reilly Factor tonight? First of all, I applaud Juan Williams for the job he's done in filling in for O'Reilly. Normally I don't agree with his opinions when he is a *panelist* on Fox. Pretty fair and balanced, I'd say.

A Question For You

There is a blog I like to read written by an author named Patti Digh. She also has a book called "Life is a Verb" containing the essays she has on her blog. Her blog is called 37 days and she asks the question "what would you be doing today if you only had 37 days to live?" So because there have been several untimely celebrity deaths lately, I'm posing this question to all of you ....

What would you be doing today if you only had 37 days to live?

POTW - Where do children smoke?

I saw this sign in the airport in Japan and the language struck me odd.

Health care and abortion

Okay, any of you ever have a thought in the night, that gets your attention. Happens to me allot. More than most, I assume.

The point was made here on the blog justifying abortion, by saying that the more abortions there are, the less crime there is. That has stuck in my craw since then. Firs to say, killing unborn Americans children, is justifiable is sickening. But we have been over that trail already.

Using her justification, then, why do liberals want government control of health care. If the "poor" do not get the care they need, they will die. According to justification on the pro abortion side, the more who are dead, the less crime there will be.

I am curious to see how this is explained.
