Really, is this what its come down to? Despite what you might think about this brand or that brand of politics at least show some respect for the flag.
Uugh, this guy can be so gross. I am still recovering from watching him eat all the different brands of raw cookie dough that he said were being recalled unnecessarily because of contamination. I mean really that brought pig ignorance to new levels.
Crazy.I'm glad I don't have to watch him over here.Not that I want to know but,I hope he's not broadcasted here.Period! As my neighbor says!
RAC, go back to that book that showed how to salute the flag. Look up the definition of the American Flag.
It is not, drawn or colored on something. In order for it to be an American Flat, it has to flow freely. See, it has to have two sides and only attached on the short blue field end. So, if someone is wearing shorts that looks like the flat, you do not need to salute it. I believe you knew this, but for the other nimrods, I will spell this out for you

It doesn't matter, it still represents the same thing. What if I put a picture of your wife on here and then drew a moustache on her, would that be disrespectful? I think so.

So I guess that makes you a ..../ what was that word you used? Really Drl take a little time to read what someone writes before you attack.
The country is a federation of states. It is states who wrote our constitution, states who ratified our constitution and all (lawful) power of the federal government comes from the states.
I watched this presentation last night and it was an illustration of just how far some states have let the federal government go in usurping their power. I'd be surprised if most of the states would ratify the constitution today. NOT because it is somehow less relevant or less appropriate or less amazing than the day it was written. No, they wouldn't because this idea of the central committee ("federal" doesn't really apply any more) running everything has become accepted by too many because they don't know any better.
THAT is the shame here.
I love Glenn Beck!I listen to him every day.I don't watch his show because I'm usually blogging.But I guess if the libs don't like him that means he's doing something right.Let's recap."thats just wrong,disrespecting the flag like that"OK sooo when there's a gay pride parade and fags march down the street wrapped in the flag thats OK? See I'm asking because there is such a thing as "flag etiquette" you veterans know this and the rest of you should or shame on you.If it's ok for an anti war demonstrator to wrap himself in the flag or burn a flag or whatever,or a biker to tape a flag to his bike or someone to tape a cheap flag to their car antenna or wear a t-shirt with the flag on it(all of the above violate flag etiquete)thens its ok for Glenn Beck to do what he did.Lame argument!hehehe
