Under the Radar, in Stealth Mode

Has anybody heard from Doug lately? I haven't seen hide nor hair of him and was hoping he may have contacted someone.. I no longer have a working phone number or email address for him.

I am under the radar. Still kicking my brother.
I JUST found out about Patsy. I am sitting here in a daze.
This just can't be. This is a sobering loss to all of us that loved our fellow circle dwellers in general & the Carraways at this time in particular.
I will never forget her.

You were her sweet heart when she was not annihilating you in softball. It is a sad event but she gave us all great memories to look back on.

Hey Doug :(

She was a tough out in more ways then one.
I am kicking myself for not getting down there to see her. It's like yeah I'll get down there sometime. I guess there's a lesson in there.
Im so self absorbed I had no idea that this was happening.
What a kick in the ass.
I can only trust that the almighty, in his infinite wisdom, has shown her the way to the arms of her mom and dad and that she's in a better place.
Thanks for the words Juliet. How are things? Give my sincerest regards to Cindy & Robert on facebook.

Now Doug, We are all appointed a time die, to pass on to our rest, just as those who have gone before us. We only have so much time in these bodies.. but as long as we're still breathing and our hearts are pumping, we have to keep on living.

Life goes on Doug, and you can't keep kicking yourself.. because it hurts. I should know, for I have been kicked by you more than once. But it taught me something.. to block next time.

I tried all the numbers and email addresses I had for you, and just about sent Rod over to find you. I'm off facebook as much as possible, but when I checked in, Cindy popped up on my screen. She let us all know that Pat was in no pain, she went peacefully to her rest. We, none of us, except Rodney, ever made it to stop by in that neck of the woods. I've been in Florida several times over the years, but didn't stop by to see Doug, Pat or Cindy, always thinking, the next time I will.

Got ahold of Jeff and he let Robert and his parents know, and my bro Chris reads the blog so he and Pete and Dan were also saddened to hear the news.. the grapevine is alive.

This blog has many viewers, by the tens of thousands. Clay, If you're still reading these posts, it's good to still have you here.

2007 is when Dean's Circle found each other again, in many ways. Some of us got together in Vegas, others couldn't make it but that's okay. Sure we got carried away by politics and everyone wanted to fight, just like those days playing foot ball, at the bus stop, on the curb, down the cliff or in the Ocean. But that was us.

Dean's Circle happened because it was a happening place. This Blog happened and I'm glad, because many of Pat's words are still right here, with all of the rest of the DC and Guam friends, Circa 1970 as RAC would say.. all the posts and the comments are still right where we left them.

Okay Juliet, Lol, hahaha... I only have a little over a thousand, like 1200 something.. and I know You, Doug and Mat are bringing up second third and fourth place. Then maybe another couple thousand with all the other circle rats, but that still leaves 132,000 give or take visits by people surfing the web. I never thought I would find more than 5 or 10 of the old gang, but it ended up being 40 + which reminds me, I never did get Janet Tansy hooked up on the blog. I think I still have her info.. do you? Must be my early onset of Alzheimer's..

Doug, I've just checked in on the blog for the first time in a long time. Please don't beat yourself up for not visiting her. I'm happy that you remember her as she was when we lived in the Circle. Alcoholism is a terrible disease and Patsy was not the same person we all loved in her last years.
