REV.Moon lived a few houses up from me in Korea.I walked by his house which was like a small compound. In 86 I traveled through Germany with a group of them looking at filling machines for drinks. They had a guy with them that wrote down everything the others did, ate, drank, and said. Moonies live a life similar to Mormons except the extra wife thing. The guys that came along on that trip were top management and they wanted to and did party the whole way through Germany. Finally they pushed our Korean salesman to beat up the informant and take his little book. That was a crazy trip, I remember the first day the Koreans went to a store and bought Maltz beer and Bananas (bananas were a real luxury item in Korea in those days. They bought six packs of Maltz beer and complained that German beer was not as good as Korean and had no kick to it. Well of course Maltz beer (kinder beer) has no alcohol. So they added scotch to it.
By the time we hit Austria I had enough. We were in Salzburg and it was picture postcard beautiful. I was walking down the old streets having successfully ditched my husband and his merry band of Koreans when our salesman noticed I was missing. It was so peaceful and the whole area was covered with a heavy blanket of snow and I was looking at Christmas ornaments and sweets. You could hear the snow drop and suddenly the beauty of that moment was shattered by the belligerent shouting of "Mrs. Pop, Mrs Pop" all through the streets. I hid in the shops one by one till he passed me by.
