I guess that "group hug" diplomacy is a little harder than he thought. It's also not easy running an auto industry and a large country at the same time.

Are you sure he hasn't been to Lebanon lately? or Acapulco.. or Columbia.. or Humboldt County.. or Vegas.. ? I say.. that boys on something.

Maybe he didn't have his teleprompter in front of him.Or he had jet lag from his night out with his wife in New York.

Yes, Dave it is called stress from other people's incompetence.

Back in Dean's Circle when we tried telling our parents we were just tired or stressed out... they weren't buying it. If Juliet is right, it's the incompetence of his own administration that's giving him the red-eye. Could be it's a combination of all of the above, or perhaps he's "medicated."

WTF are you on these days Dave?

HeHeHe Dave.Or maybe he"s really overwhelmed with the job.Did George Sorros not tell him the truth?Wait for it!

And Matt look back in the news, man. Chinese make us defense industry stuff is old news. The Chinese and there third party corporations produce a lot of our military equipment. It's not my opinion it is fact. Did you just learn that now because they are going to add the HUM V. They have now their own versions of a lot of our stuff. Oh did they forget to bring that up on FOX the news for REAL AMERICANS during the BUSH years.

President Barack Hussein Obama - the ultimate example of affirmative action.

And it continues - his supporters, his fans, his acolytes and OUR FREE PRESS still won't question anything. He gets a free pass with the "Blame Bush" stamp on it.

He is definitely going about things differently. I personally find it exciting to witness some real change in action. I also am not going to assume failure before the job is complete. I've always said the GM move is either going to be a stroke of pure genius or a complete and utter failure. Only time will tell.

As for the free pass I don't think that is entirely true. Wall Street has been his biggest critic cutting him no slack - at least not until now. The President and his team have earned a great deal of respect from this crowd as of late.

As for what he's on... as the leader of the free world probably anything he wants to be. And you can bet it's good shit too.

Well they did start their own garden out back.

Juliet, I'm on Folgers and Lipitor and feeling great. I know you and others are very touchy when it comes to BHO, so I figure a raw nerve exposed is always fair game. I hope I don't lose my "gentleman" status... at least Pat still loves me. And rac has a very good point; BHO will soon be the CEO of the pharmaceutical industry.

If he is on anything it is probably beta blockers. Many people take them for racing hearts under stress. You just say weird paranoid stuff sometimes sounds like lines out of a B horror flick " Look at the eyes" and "just wait".

Yes, it must be very stressfull having your first real job. He's never managed or run anything and now he is POTUS.

I remember when I had my first real job! I was only 17 years old, and carried a M-16 rifle! At least I was professionally trained to use it. What is BHO’s training prior to his new office?

Just wondering?

Well, Illinois state legislator & US Senator. Does that count?
Is there some US President prep academy that he skipped attending?
Abraham Lincoln, what "qualifications" did he have?
Woodrow Wilson led the Republic through WWI yet had no military training, unqualified?
FDR, President for most of WWII, no military training, unqualified?
If your premise is that military training should be prerequisite to effectively lead and govern the Republic then history would indicate otherwise.
The previous occupant fulfilled his duty in the air national guard. One would suppose that would qualify for military training yet by some accounts his two term Presidency was an unrivaled exercise in buffoonery.
What qualities are needed to be a good President?
In my opinion the ability to lead, to have empathy, to be diplomatic, to have and know where to find knowledge and the willingness to be unpopular in serving the greater good.
I don't know why anyone would want the job.

Gee Ric, sounds like you would be the perfect candidate. You know, being perfect and all.

Ric for president.Works for me!Drl for VP or better yet Secretary Of State!

mat said...

Sean can be Secretary of Defense and I still want to be the drug czar(minister of marijuana).Hahaha.

Ric Larson said...

Thanks RAC, but I am so far from perfect, regardless from what people say about me. ;)

Oh, how I would love for Sean to be the next Secretary of Defense! Even as a former military dude myself, Sean is so on top of it!!! He’s got my vote!

Me? President? And DRL; as VP (or Secretary Of State)? Nope, wouldn’t work. We would offend or hurt to many people’s feeeeelings. We tend to cut to the chase, tell it as we see it.
Mat, if fait has it, you can be the Drug Czar (minister of marijuana)! Just let me know where they burn the next bundle of weed, dude! I want to be there! Hahahahah!
