Beyond the circle?

My boyfriend Charlie loves reading our blog. He would love to comment sometimes. Would anyone have a problem with that? RAC, Dave? Maybe we could invite Spouses, boyfriends, girlfriends ETC.

Thanks my man. That's what I thought.

PS. I will not be responsible for any crap that may spew from his lips.

Maybe they can post through you, on your account.

Spouses, girlfriends, boyfriends and friends come and go, could get sticky down the road.

I choose to abstain from voting. But while we're are on the subject of membership, how does everyone feel about inviting DRL back? I only ask because it seems Dave has his hands full as the lone voice of the right. Just a thought.

rac said...

Well then, that's pretty clear. ;)

I agree. Also with writing through one's account:) Things have already gotten heated and twisted, etc.

Like I said, the more the merrier.

I got the message. As for DRL, I'm with Doug. The more the merrier. We don't want to get boring do we?

Pat said...

DRL is pretty entertaining, y'all have to admit. One vote here for Pedro! I mean DRL

I say yes, invite DRL and Mat K. both back. I'm getting my butt kicked here by all you left wing nuts. I agree with Juliet, that 'significant others' should communicate through their 'partners' account. It will be easier to keep track of and 'know' who we have listed as members. However, rac has the final say on the matter.

No Promblema. Please consider the subject dropped.

We would love to hear from your newest flame Pat. Have him introduce himself to us. We'll know if it's not you talking.

Gadzooks? you let your spouses read this stuff?, What if they figure out we we're really like? lol

Cindy said...

I agree Paul....I don't let ANYONE I know read this...LOL

Pat said...

Why should it be our dark little secret Cindy? I'm not ashamed.

Pat said...

I love this blog. It's interesting to others besides us. who doesn't get that part?

Pat said...

LOL David, don't you mean my current flame? Lord there are too many to keep track of.

juliet said...

You do get that anyone can read it.lol

Pat said...

yea, so?

juliet said...

Well just that some commented that they never let their friends, family etc. read this but all anyone has to do is google Dean's Circle and they will get to this blog. You can not really control who reads it.

I really was just joking ...I actually do brag about us...that we made contact after all these years and have renewed our friendships and lively debates!

Hindsight being 20/20, I do know of people that don't write but read instead...invited or not. It's A Guam thing. As for the unspoken...they can log on anytime.I do miss Matt, as fowl as he can get.Weird.

I personally like a good debate but,one where my opponent has at least 3 brain cells to rub together.Intellectual conversation versus the non-intellect human conversation.

Dave said...

Joanna, your 3 brain cell rule eliminates the majority of us who grew up on Guam during the 60s and 70s as being your worthy opponents.

I defer the final decision to you Dave. I would like to make the following point though: These last couple months have shown it's possible to disagree with each other and still (mostly) maintain a certain level of civility. I think we should demand that from all of us... old and new members alike.

RAC, I agree...

Like controlled chaos n such.
Civil insanity if you will.
Peaceful brutality even.

Joanna said...

Wow....

juliet said...

Not interested in another pointless round with drl.

Pat said...

Dave, I like civil insanity. Peacful brutality is good too though :)

Pat said...

Juliet my girl, I'll ask you the same question you asked me once. "what happened to redemption"?

Not for repeat offenders, Pat.
