Crazy at Work

If you receive an email from the Department of Health telling you not to eat canned pork because of swine flu (H1N1).

IGNORE IT........



It's just Spam!

So funny. We got the flu but,Thankgoodness missed the swine flu. I had my daughter wear a mask today.Two people have died here from that strain in so far:)

It is wide spread here..unfortunately has become one of my main focuses at work...ugh..making sure patients are isolated...answering questions...preparing for the worst, hoping for the best..now we are not letting any visitors under age 12 in our ICU's. Soon we may be opening an off-site area for treatment...our ER can hardly handle the number of patients they are getting. Fortunately most have fairly mild illness. The scary thing about this flu is that the deaths are occurring in mostly under 49 year old group...whereas the majority of deaths from seasonal flu occurs in elderly people. The good news is that the vaccine will be out in a month or so.

Cindy,It's here! As soon as my daughter gets over this.I've scheduled a physical. She'll have to endure 4 shots.Poor ting:( For her own good. May you be blessed with great health! Hang in there...it is people like you who save people like me:)
