The actual crowd size was estimated at 60,000 to 70,000. Though an impressive number in itself, it's not the 2 million some on Facebook are claiming.

I don't know how many were there, but I can tell you that there were many, many more people than we had room for. They would not allow us on the mall because someone else had the permit. The capital lawn in front and sides were full. People were backed up down Pennsyvania avenue and down the other side as well.

I really don't know how to get an accurate account - the parks service has stopped providing this - but I don't think 70K is accurate.

Thanks for going Sean. I hope you share your astro-turf check with the rest of us.

Who cares how many were there. It was a shitload of people who are pissed off with the out of control spending going on in Washington.

"you guys"

I didn't post any fake pictures, did you Dave? What make you think this was posted by a tea party-er? Where was this originally posted?

We had a huge turnout, much larger than the 100K that planners had expected. However large it was in DC there were also thousands who attended other events across the country.

I have a ton of photos (oops, it isn't, like, literally a ton. I don't want to be acused of inflating anything) I'll post them later on.

All kidding aside Sean I do think what you did is commendable. Despite what I see as somewhat misguided and unwarranted personal attacks on the President by some if it means making those in power squirm I'm all for it.
