Well...well...well.
Welcome back Matt. About friggin' time.
I trust that you have taken the opportunity during your hiatus to rethink your misguided political ideology. :)
Was just thinking the other day about New York New York. And Jack & Coke. And that chick at that bar. Not necessarily in that order.

Back at ya Doug.I mean as far as the misguided political ideology.hahaha.And oh yea that orange dress! Seriously though,I've stayed in touch with my peeps that I had phone numbers for. How ya been man?

Yep Mat and Doug, "Vegas Baby" was a blast! Hope we all can do it again some day. And thanks Mat for keeping in touch via the phone!

Ric guess where I moved to? I'll give you a hint, I can walk right into Ft.Carson.

Mat, it’s been 30 years since I was stationed there, but I’m guessing you either moved to Fountain or Security? But then again, that’s not Colorado Springs? Is Nevada Street right out the from gate? I can’t remember anymore (God, I must be getting old). Did I come close???

Same old same old here. Have suffered through the gloomiest Winter since like I moved here.
Work, same. House, same. Football team, same. Raining today. Thank God, we sure can use it.
It's all good.

Close but no cigar Ric. Remember "B" street? Back gate, Liquor stores, tatoo parlors, T/A clubs used cars and payday loans. Everything a GI needs.

Guam guys bonding again.

Nevada Street sticks in my head, why? But I can see it in my "mind" the street you are talking about, so clear, but foggy too.

Mat,I'm glad your back!!! I'll try and be a little more quiet about my political and religious beliefs just so we can talk or write again. Unless you want my opinion:)I mean you know what I mean:)

Joanna, it's really good to see you back also. Let's remember that we are all friends here on the blog, no matter what we say or believe to be true.. or not true.

Words can hurt, only if you let them. I think we all have thicker skin that.. friendships are supposed to last a lifetime.. in my opinion.

So where in the world is rac? We still need his perspective on things to keep it real. RAC!!!

Ric, I actually am knocking on Security's back door. We are in Stratmoor.Fountain is down the road and is a city(town)on it's own.Widefield,Security are unincorporated suburbs of Colorado Springs.Stratmoor is just outside Ft.Carsons back gate. There's a Stratmoor Hills and Stratmoor Valley.Stratmoor Hills is what I like to call "old money" the original residents were upper middle class,Dr's,Engineers CPA's etc. Their kids had cool cars in high school.Camaros,Firebirds,Must-ahgs.Stratmoor Valley is the trailer parks. As you drive out the back gate of Ft.Carson on the left is a fence and a set of railroad tracks.Thats The "Hills". On the right are the pawn shops and 7/11's.We live on the cusp between the Hills and the Valley. Our neighborhood is the working folk. Electricians, contractors, military(retired and active). We literally live on the other side of the tracks! But we are in the Stratmoor Hills water district so I suppose that counts for something at a barbecue.Hahahaha!
