Hi Guam Gang,
First, I'd like to thank RAC for the invite to the DC Blog and to Cindy for the suggestion. I can't say that I'll write as often as Ric but I will try to respond when I can.
Secondly, I want to thank you all for the warm reception I received, as the spouse, at your Dean's Circle reunion in Vegas. I have always heard so much about you all and it was a wondeful experience to finally meet you. Now I understand why memories of Guam are so meaningful to Ric. Hanging with you all in Guam was the best times of his childhood. No other time in his life does he speak about with such joy and love as his times in Guam with you guys. Thank you all for giving him such wonderful childhood memories.
I had a great time in Vegas! From the fabulous Guam food (thanks Benita) to the funny ancedotes; it's a trip I won't soon forget. Thanks again. Peace & Love to all. ~T

My wife is a clever one! When she was signing in on the blog, she was on my website. Some how after she logged in, her name remained on the blog. (I was wondering why I didn't have to put in 'user name' and 'pass word'...but I fixed that).
Teresa does take good pictures. Haven't had a chance to look at all of them yet, but the ones that I have seen are great!

I am back off my vacation. I hurt my back even more, I have been down on the recliner for the past 2 days. When I can sit at the computer long enough, I will put all the video I have on again, and pictures of the traveling underware, oops I mean DC shirt. Wow what a Frordian slip.

Just kidding!! My culinary hat goes off though, to Matt and Bonita for the great (Guam style!)
Hospitality, and even better was their FOOD!!
If I live another day, I'll never run out of compliments for the true to life recreation of the best of my memories( I DO STILL HAVE A FEW!!) which were eating my way thru the weekend fiesta's!!
The BBQ ribs, and chicken, and Red Rice, Keligwen (sp?) and of course the finydiny (Hey, I tried spell check too..LOL) WERE JUST FABULOUS!
Since no one else will confess, I had 2 dinners the first night, then a midnight snack that would rival most folks first plate..Then there was Saturday, and back at it again!!! ABSOLUTLY AWESOME!!

Just for the record...I ate nothing but red rice, kelaguan, chicken, ribs and potato salad from Friday arrival until Sunday lunch. Kudos to my brother Mat and his dear wife, Bea!

Thanks Becki. It was great to meet you and hang with you too. I too had a wonderful time that wont soon be forgotten! Especially the awesome food. Thanks for all the recipes. Ric is psyched! He can't wait till we make it or Matt and Benita get their business going and he can order it any time he wants! YUM! Anyway, thanks to all again. You guys are all great people and I am very happy to have met the people that meant, rather mean so much to Ric. Hope you are all enjoying the rest of the summer! Stay cool! ~T
