It keeps growing and growing and growing....

Good job everyone. I've been slacking off lately on my "go and find them" duties, but apparently many of you have not. The Jewell girls should soon be with us in blogger land, if they can figure out how to sign on. Also, Ric sent me an email notice that he had a lead from a guy who knows Janet Tansy. The only problem is, he forgot to send me the message. So the search goes on. I like it when you all get involved in helping the blog to grow and are successfully keeping it alive. I got a little burned out on it, but have fallen back and regrouped. I know several others have dropped off the radar scope for a while now, but hope everyone will at least check in occasionally, time permitting. Alice? Are you still out there? Gotta go and dig through my albums again.... keep up the good work!

Wow I hope you find Janet and her sisters Christie and Mary Joe. We were good friends there for a while before they moved to the states. I didn't get the email you mentioned. What did Janet study and where did she go to college?

Juliet, Janet went to college in Germany, and majored in education I believe. the guy that contacted me thinks she is a fine arts teacher now out West. Dave is on the hunt for her right now! Good luck Dave, you have a good track record so in finding people!

hmm university of Maryland had a campus in south Germany back in the day. I wonder what she was doing in Germany. With the military in some way? Does she go by Janet Tansy or did she marry. My husband is German and I finished my degree with University of Maryland, European division but they don't have a campus any more.

Hey Juliet, I'm not sure if she is married, or what name she works/goes under?

My wife is a teacher also, and works under her madian name. Too much trouble changing her teachers license to her married name from her madian in the State of New York. Most teachers that we know that got there teaching license befor they got married still work under there madian name.

Not sure what College she went to in Germany iether? But my bet is on the University of Maryland also.

I also know that I was in Germany at the same time that Janet was, 1981-1982. I was in Northern Germany, Bremen. I do not know where she was, but am assuming she was in Southern Germany?

I passed on the little information that was sent to me about Janet to Dave. Lets just hope that he has some luck tracking her down! :)

Hey Dave, as you are digging through your old Guam photo's, please post any that you have of Harmon Village.

I have zero photo's of Guam, other wise I would post them.

Thanx, Ric

Does anyone remember the Padalla family? They lived at Dean's Circle for a short while, next door to Russle and Dave Clayshultz (Sp?). There father was a local who taught at GWHS, and his wife was a statesider. One of the kids name was Mark Padalla.
