I learned the other day that sea urchins are some of the longest living animals on the planet. When you think about this it makes perfect sense. If your purpose in life is to inflict pain and suffering on a swifter and more intelligent opponent, you have to be willing to wait around awhile. Eventually though, the spiny creature will find its mark. Just ask the innocent blond haired blue eyed teenaged girl who sat down on one at Merizo one day... huh Pat?
Maybe there's a lesson for us here. It doesn't matter how smart, or how athletic, or even how attractive you are, success usually boils down to two key components – PATIENCE & PURE DUMB LUCK!

I can see the family resemblance between the young man and the sea urchin! It's there!
haha Robert. I never forgot that painful day...though it made alice laugh. And OMG, the memory u have..floors me sometimes.
Hey RAC, under all of that great humor of yours, you are really quite the intellectual! Man, would I like to sit down with you and discuss in depth some serious scientific stuff! Your a man of original thought. This is rare in humaniods...uhg, people! Your mind must contemplate the Universe over and over again!
ha ric...he just plays one on line
luv ya bro
Yes, but to play a genius on line, you must first have the capabilities of being a genius!
RAC, have you ever pondered what lays beyond our physical Universe? Is is nothing or something? Is there a giant galatic wall out there that ends our Universe? And if so, what is it? And if it is nothing, isn't nothing something? These kind of things makes our little mortal minds want to blow a fuse!
If our Universe is expanding on an indefinite scale. Can one assume that an object of any matter can implode indefinitly?
And how many beers does it take to make a want-to-be scholar go stupid? (I can answer that on a personal level...just a few). :)
And are we all alone in this galatic abyss?
You da man RAC!
Ric if you want to know more about the things RAC thinks about, check out his other blog. It is listed on his profile page. He's helped me in my own spiritual quest but I must say sometimes what he talks about is way over MY head..lol, and I consider myself a smart person. He definitely does have a great sense of humor, like my dad did.
Ric, I believe the answers we seek can only be found where we least expect to find them... like in my older sister's ass. OK, that didn't come out right.
And Cindy, you are being way too modest. The day I snatch the pebble from your hand will be the day I attend your funeral - many, many, many, many years from now.
I checked out the RAC'miesters other blog sight. All I can say is...dude, is was deep man.
wow...very deep..as always,I'm the little pebble on the beach.
But, I'm the pebble sitting on the sea urchin...and it's all good.
