Texas Sized UFO

In early January a number of people reported seeing a very large UFO over a couple of small Texas towns. I'm usually not one to give these things a second thought, but this story did peak my interest. For one thing, it happened in my old stomping grounds - a place my two oldest children still live. For another, after originally denying they had aircraft in the area, the military today revised their story and claimed there were 10 F16's in the area at the time.

As I stated before, I don't really have an active interest in ufology. Because I've never seen one, I can't say for certain that they exist. At the same time, just because I haven't had that experience, doesn't mean they don't exist. For now I'll have to keep an open mind.

How about you? Have you ever seen something in the sky you couldn't explain? Maybe you have connections with some advanced alien life form. And if you do, maybe you can talk them into giving us all a ride out to Guam? We can even offer up Dave as an anal probe test subject in exchange for the trip. Just a thought.

Ya I can't explain how Air Micronesia stays in the air. HAAHAHA

Anal probe test...now there's an interesting subject. Something I can speak about from experience, being in the military for the last 30 years. I could probably explain to any alien out there, exactly what its like to "get the fid" in every way imaginable. You ex-Navy guys know what I'm talking about. And thanks RAC for thinking so highly of me...I can feel the love.

Sorry RAC, I couldn't resist adding a visual to your most generous offer.

Having had a colonoscopy (routine) just two weeks ago I can also now claim membership in the taking one for the team club.
The drugs they give you are pretty good but it's like this miniature roto rooter thing with a little camera attached that they, well you know.
The procedure itself isn't bad but the getting ready for it sucked out loud.

No ill will intended Dave. With you as de facto mayor I thought you might be willing to, as Doug would say, "take one for the team."

RAC, good to see that you have come out of your hybernation.

Ah yes, the beloved colonoscopy. Being that my Dad died of colon cancer, I am very familiar with the procedure. RAC, your space aliens ain't got nuthin as good as this anal probe. A cute (female) nurse comes along to inject some sort of special magic serum into your veins and the next thing you know its all over and your begging the doctor for another one. You gotta love modern medicine.

Doug is right, it's the prep before that is the worst thing. Once, the nurse I had was a cute guy who I passed often in the hospital hallways and said "hi" to. As I was going under,I joked that he would never look at me the same again. He said , "No, you'll never look at ME the same way again"....lol

Hey RAC,

I do not want to confirm or deny if I ever saw 'little green men' from Venus, oops...I mean Mars. I am very allergic to G-men dressed in black (with there nuckles dragging on the ground, whos suits don't fit them quite so well, wearing trench coats, big brimmed hats and dark sun glasses) in 98 degree weather. I know nothing...catch my drift!

But...if I recall, Guam does sit on one of the corners of the "Dragon Triangle'. Interesting or just a coinidence?

Come to think about it, a 'little green f@&#er' did come knocking on my door about 3:27 am the other day holding a Rotor Rooter Snake tool. If my memory serves me correct, I believe he said that he was looking to do some plumming work for a guy named Robert, AKA...the RAC'ster. All he wore was a VERY LARGE SMILE.

Good to see you back and posting again Robert!

Good for you Doug! I've neglected my womanly checkups for more than a few years..this year, gonna do it.

Yes RAC, it is nice to see you and your unique humor back on here to make us smile.

Hmmm RAC topic and these comments remind me of that old joke "what do the star ship Enterprise and toilet paper have in common?" They both circle Uranus in search of Clingons.

My husband and I saw what was unexplainable. He ran into the tent and stayed there as I watched in awe these lights that went together and then I could see orange, reddish and blue colors circling the mid section. There was absolutely no noise, then it shot over me into the cliffline in Hanom. My father-in-law says he's seen them all his life,he's 84 now. They're here...

Thanks for braking the ice on this Joanna. I too have seen them. The best recollection was while swimming in the Acadamy Gardens swimming pool. Russ was there too. It was an orange orb with a green tail that spit out a ray of light...then it was gone!

There was this time that me and my ex wife were driving through Nevada and were being followed by 3green orb lights. When I stopped the car to get a better look at them, they vanished and me and my ex wife woke 100 miles down the road. Freaked us out!

Something is out there!

Years ago, when I was around 19, I was sun bathing with some girl friends at Tarague a good distance past the cave, in the days before Castro's beach was doing their tourist gig and it was really quiet down there on week days. I saw an interesting military aircraft that seemed to be stationary in the air. We didn't have any bathing suits on trying to get that ultimate tan and I looked up and saw a triangular shaped military plane just hoovering above us near the cliff side. I am sure I could see the pilot. We never heard the plane but it was obvious they were taking in the view. I remember reading that the military had the technology to read a cigarette pack from high up, I always wondered if they took pictures and what parts of us made it into the file. They probably were just trying to figure out what brand of suntan oil we were rubbing on each other. haa ha

I'm willing to guess those pictures are floating around the net somewhere. If anyone finds them they should post them here.

As for Joanna and Ric, I have no reason to disbelieve them... and they have no reason to lie. For now I'll choose to see the World thru their eyes. And I have to agree that there is "something" out there. I only wish I knew what.

After I got my private pilots license, I would rent a C-50 or C-172 and fly for a few hours at night in the local training area. I loved night flying! One night when I had rented a plane for 3 hours of flight time, I was doing basic maneuvers in the flight training area just west of Idaho Falls, and noticed a lot of acivity north (red lights zig zagging back and forth to the north). I change my course and headed North to see what those red lights were. As soon as I left the flight training area, the tower called and asked my location. I told them that I was going to travel north of the LTA. I was then instructed to return to the airport. I reminded the tower that I still had 2 hours of flight time left. I was instructed to return. So I did.
