I won't be having turkey for Thanksgiving Day as the Tahitians have no ties into that holiday. I'll be eating fried fish though.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I'm off to Tahiti this coming Tuesday to ride my new 6'5" Quad Bat-Tail Stretch Epoxy FF.
Check out my latest quiver!

Nice board ,
Epoxy is so much lighter,flotation
so much better.
One of my boards is a
9'6" Randy Rarick Epoxy.
They take some getting used to
because of the mass vs weight when you are manuvering during a ride,
but once you tune in....
WOWMOM!!
Johnny, how about you make us a youtube video from your trip and post it when you get back. I'm sure you have the technology. Hope you enjoy your vacation, wish I was going with you...the islands are calling.
Cool Chris. These epoxy sticks totally rock!
Dave, I'll see what I can do about getting a video made, and if not, I'll put together a WMV in YouTube fashion.

Johnny, nice surf boards. Have fun shootin the tubes:) I ran into Pat Atherton. He said that he'd email you.Have you heard from him?He said Hank pickop moved to Cali but, that his brother still lives here on Guam.
Joanna,
Pat was out here in Cali a few months ago but we didn't hook up as he was busy with some hospital appointments for his wife. I also met up with John Pickop back in early 2003 down in San Diego. I heard Hank was in Las Vegas, but I've yet to hook up with that boy. I am going to keep trying though...through Google, and hopefully find that critter. He & I were best of buddies, in the surf and out of the surf.
Thanks for the news !
Hey Johnny, any chance that you can sneak a hot turkey sandwich with hot gravy?
Hey Johnny, check Pat Atherton. He said he knows who's where they are now. When I spoke to him, he talked about surfing and fishing with my brother Dean Sparks. Dean's email is otord@yahoo.com. Feel free to contact Dean,he's a surfer at heart. Oh, otord means Lagua in Palauan. We have family over there...Lincoln Orrukem and Hermana Ramrui.
Okay Joanna, I just emailed Dean. I'm off to Tahiti for a lot of surfing, in just a few hours.
Take care, have a safe & happy Thanksgiving eh!
Yo Ric,
No time for turkey over in Papeete, unless it can be substituted with Poisson Cru and some fried fish, Uru, and Poi Banan.
Chat more when I return next week, between surf trips. Off to Oahu the following weekend to surf Waimea Bay with my buddy Keone Downing. Surf is expected to be 18-25 feet. YahooooO!!!!
Johnny, safe travels! I'll eat some extra Turkey for ya brah!! Ric
Hey Johnny,
You still coming to Hawaii on the 30th?. You better call me!
JJones
JJones,
Brah, email to me your telephone numbers! Let's go surfing together. I just got back from Tahiti, surfing Taapuna 4 - 6' only but glassy and long lefts.
Maybe we can surf this coming Saturday?! I'm only going to bring my 6'5" Stretch FF Quad, as I really want to get used to it in many wave conditions.
I had taken my other 6'4" GPang to Tahiti but ended up riding only my Quad.
No fo'get --- email your phone numbers! I'm looking forward to seeing you again Jeff.
Johnny
