thankyou all for your service and sorry for the hell you had to go through for us. You had to be brave, no choice, even when you were scared as hell sometimes. when I was a little girl I worried. now my kids have to worry about war and the consequences. and they do worry
too much. Cindy's stepson Karl is out in that mess and we pray. I know mama will bring him home though.

I don't know if you all know it but Sam's dad was a decorated war hero from WWWII. Dr. Sparks was a high ranking officer, Sam, Jo, Dean, Alice you need to get the details from your Mom before it is too late. I don't recall he ever mentioned his military experiance. I heard about him from my mother.
Thank you Pat!
Hey Juliet, I also heard some good stories about Dr. Sparks in the Korean war. They were quite impressive as I remember!
I have my Dad's briefcase and Thank-You for recognizing our father. He was a great man. The stories he told me terrified me but,it was his choice to share. He was also very involved in Cape Canaveral.I still miss him and he passed away in July of 1998.May God Bless his soul:)
Some of us did not serve in the US Armed Forces, but did contribute in other ways. My brother Sean did got to Kuwait after the first Gulf War! Hero's come in all shapes, sizes and accupations!
Sean's Grandfather (the late and great...George Perdew), whom us kids called 'Grand', was Vice President of the Univeristy of Guam. He served as a Naval Officer during during WWII (in the islands). Sure miss him!
