Ric, I've been watching football too. Have only missed one pick (we choose San Diego over Minn) in my work's weekly football pool so far. Only missed 1 last week (have to give my husband credit) also-- was in the running with 5 other people but had picked too many points for Monday nights game. We're going next Sunday with a group of people from the hospital to the Dolphins game. Maybe they might finally win a game.
Cindy, Good to hear from you! I am in four fantasy football leagues. But my loyalties in real time, real life football are with the Vikings (Since I am Swedish), and the Redskins (since my grandfather Ghormley was a-good-part American Indian). I play the ethnic game when is comes to football!!!! ( The Polital Corretness Dude, I am not).
I haven't played the football pool at the office in a few years! Last time I played...I won big! The game at work was discontinued after that?
I've always been an underdog kind of guy. So, go Dolphins!

was just thinking.. if mom were here she'd have her 2 cents to put in on the football games, she watched every college and pro game and she didn't even care who won as long as the game wasn't one sided
My wife Jill is a football widow. I am "RAIDER FAN". We have won our 2 games this year. That is what we did last year, and won 1st draft choice. Our schedule is tough the rest of the year.
Pat, one of the two wins was over the FISH, ha ha ha.
I have two farorite teams, the Raiders, and anyone who plays the Donkey's(Denver).

didn't mean to knock your Dolphins. Mac is a huge Dolpins fan.
I'm sure that they are the best 0-8 team out there right now :) Hey feel free to give me what for about my two favorite teams, the Chicago Bears and The Florida State University Seminoles.
That is of course not counting the GW High Geckos & the UOG Tritons.
My love for the game of football was cultivated on the island.
Mark Wessling from the UOG Tritons will always best my favorite quaterback!! Loved the Geckos and Warriors and even have a gecko tattoo(only one).

In my freshman year I made the Gecko Football team. I was Left Defencive Tackle (142 pounds). I would leap frog over the Guard or Tackle, and be in the back fiel, face to face woth the backs.
Two weeks in, a guy (Samonan, BIG) grabed my lower legs and slammed me into the turf. I never played again. Something about the school insurance. I am still a Gecko!
