Unknown Starry sky light ?

Astronomers are baffled by a very mysterious light in the night sky (no, not a UFO)! They noticed a point light that is in a very large void of our visible Universe (or bubble) that was not there months prior to this discovery. It is no closer than 130 light years away, and no further than 11 billion light years away ( a little more further than 1/2 way through the known visible Universe). Its dimness and brightness was unlike any know object ever observed in the visible known Universe. A crystal spectrum was also used to evaluated the light waves after the glass photos were taken, and no known chemical identities were identified or recognized through the spectrum lights! That is the baffling part of the discovery (yet exciting part of the story to science freaks)! Did astronomers just wittiness a new Big Bang in the making, with totally different and unknown chemical components or our Universe or knowledge?

(Just me thinking out loud, "matter or energy can and does materialize out of what, nothing? It did here)?

I would post the article, but just can not figure how to do that yet? I do have the science article saved in my favorites if any one would like to read it (if you are a science freak-a-zoid like me) I could fwd it to you.

So astronomers can estimate its distance from Earth to from between 130 light years to a half billion light years. Not to be a dick or anything but that's quite a spread.
I estimate:
On an annual basis any one of some 30 teams will win the World Series sometime in late October.
My weight is somewhere between one microgram and 1,000 kilotons.
My next commute to and from work I'll travel by anything from yak to wormhole. I will arrive sometime before my death.
The Miami Dolphins will lose anywhere from 0 to 16 games every season, although anecdotal data suggests that number usually will be closer to 16. Real close. Like, right next to it.
On his next college football telecast Brent Musberger will refer to his fellow commentator as "pardner" between 1 and 10,000 times.
Doug's fantasy team will rate anywhere from mediocre to sucking so bad it sucks the life out of any living thing within the length of a football field.
Rant over. We now return this thread to meaningful and serious discussion.

You win the big prize Doug! Was wondering if anyone would catch the vast distance? 130 light years is just spitting distance, but 4 1/2 billion light years is half way across the know Universe. Why the astronomers could not get a good fix on the objects distance is anyones quess?, but I speculate; don't think they had time to triangule or measure due to the fact the object appeared then disappeared to quickly.

OK Doug, how many times will McCain say "my friends" in his next speech? This is a tough one! :)

Hopefully fewer than the amount of dollars he and his fellow congressman have committed to the bailout of Wall Street. 750 Billion. And counting.

You got it correct again Doug!

Yepper, Congress wrote the check for the $750 plus billion bail out, but you and I will be paying that bill, my friend. Sad.
