Reason: the magazine

I ran across a magazine at the doctors office today that I had never heard of. It's a libertarian journal call Reason. It touts itself as a magazine for "free minds and free markets". Publication started in 1968.

I have to say I was more impressed with this journal than anything I have come across in a long time. It deals with sensitive subjects in a straight forward, in your face manner that would make most mainstream outlets cringe. The magazine is neither liberal or conservative, yet has been endorsed by both.

Check out the online version at http://www.reason.com/

“You want a good magazine? reason magazine.…It’s a magazine for libertarians. It’s a magazine for everybody. It’s a magazine for the world. Reason magazine: A good, good magazine.”
—Rush Limbaugh

“reason is a principled, passionate defender of free speech and the rights of individuals against government excesses, a valued ally and provocative adversary. We certainly don’t see eye-to-eye on every issue, but I always find reason worth reading. Even when it’s infuriating, it makes me think.”
—Nadine Strossen, president, American Civil Liberties Union

Hmmmm, your comments were 'fair and balanced'. Will have to check this magazine out myself!
