Spam to the rescue

It turns out there is a silver lining in a crashing economy... Spam. Apparently, sales of the stuff spike during hard times and now the folks at Hormel can't make enough of it. Looks like I'll be making a trip to the supermarket tomorrow.

salt and fat. My dad used to fry it with a little butter and brown sugar or maple surup.

SPAM oven roasted Turkey! Buy it all the time to make sandwiches (a couple of thin slices on white or multi grain bead, with pleanty of mayo and mustard). Looks and almost tastes like the original SPAM, but not as salty.

Had it for breakfast this morning. Fried with onions... with left over mashed potatoes and gravy and covered with tobasco.

About 2 years ago, I rediscovered tobasco. Put it on everything now!
