Pat Nelson's 5th Grade

I see Ric and Sean in the last row (teachers pets). I see Dan Larson and Jules in the middle row. Anyone else recognize others?

I delivered the Pacific Daily News to Mr. Pat Nelson's (A.K.A. Pot Smell-Some) house every morning. When it came time for 'collection', he never had the dough to pay up, so gave me cigaret's instead! He was so cool :)

Sean, Libby was a girl that took my heart away! I'll have to tell you about her some time. She died at the young age of 16, killed by a drunk driver near Price Elementary School.

Juls,
You always looked fine to me! Just could't tell you that because my brother Dave had the hots for you too! ;)

Which one is Libby? And thanks for that kind remark Ric.

Juls, she is not in this photo. She was in the same grade, same building. Do you remember how our classroom was a 1/4 of a pie (in a round building, there were 4 seperate classrooms divided by partitions). Libby's room was part of the pie. If you stood in the Larson's back yard, Libby lived down that hill. Her mother was a native of Guam and her father was from the states I believe. We had to be secrete about meeting because her older brother by several years had a hobbie; kicking my ass!

Oh yea and Pat Nelson, what a winner. Gives a kid cigarettes instead of paying his bill. Isn't he the guy who worked for Sparks for a while at Petland? He and his wife I believe. I think it was after the Governor fired all the striking teachers. Hahaha.Suckers. They really thought that GovGuam gave a shit about them.

Ric, thanks for the reminder. I do remember the pie. I don't think I learned too much that year. I did go to the principles office a couple of times for talking in line.

Mat, I don't know about Petland, but I do remember Pat Nelson working for some local meat store. He was on TV for the

"Little, bitty bone. Big, Big Meat" commercials.
