Pork Central

The prez came to Denver to sign the stimulus bill. Kinda makes me wish I was from another state. I mean it was gonna get signed anyways but I wish he didn't do it here. If you think about it,wouldn't it make sense to sign it in a state that is really suffering economically? Even if it were just symbolic. I don't know,California maybe thats where Pelosi is from or Michigan or I know what about Illinois. Colorados economy is doing pretty good compared to a lot of others.

Good to hear from you "Pork Central"!

My observation is: any thing that the Prez has done thus far has made no scence at all.

Speaking of pork, hmmmm, what is your wife cooking for dinner tonight? Bet it is good and yummy! Guamanian style!

SPAM! Why didn't you invite me and the Mrs. over for dinner? Love the stuff!

Oh, now I get it! It just flew over my head. SPAM and hot dog stew! (PORK). Forgive me Mat, I am slow some times! ;)

For being so concerned about "us" and taxpayer dollars going to waste, he sure is flying all over hell and back on our dime, instead of just staying home like the rest of us have to in order to put a meal on the table for our families tonight. If only hot air and blowing smoke up peoples asses could make this country energy independent...

Well you do have to admit it's one hell of a nice ride. We need something like that for an annual pilgrimage to the island.

Yeh Doug'ster, a very nice ride it is! You could fit all ages of the Dean's Circle gang on that bird. It probably could even be outfited with its own beach and wave pool! Heck, we would'nt even need to land on the 'Rock'.

Dave, with your expertise in aviatin, how much of an expense do you think that it is costing us the tax payers every time that big blue bird leaves the ground till it touches down? I know it can't be cheap.

By the time it's all said and done, with entire entourage and security package, accomodations, fuel, maintenance etc. we're probably talking hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I still think we can get a grant.

That's the great thing about a religion card - you only have to play it when it serves your self-interest. Otherwise, you're free to frolic with the Devil. ;)

Jo, I have no idea what you're talking about. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you mean that Guam is so screwed up so I left. Duh yea. There are better things out there. Why poor thing? I had the sense God gave me to split. I am in a better environment. But don't be surprised if I come back and reinstate my licence and get back some of my tax money that the feds are throwing at Guam to relocate the Marines from Okinawa by doing some contracting. Which by the way they wouldn't have to do if they hadn't closed NAS in the first place.

Oh and you know what else Jo, Don't be afraid to look outside the box. I make less money a year now than I made on Guam. But I just got tired of the same old shit you know? Same senators, same mayors ,etc, etc. Guam is 30 miles long and 8 miles wide(at the widest).A speck in the grand scheme of things. Don't be afraid to try something different. Don't hate what I believe in because you think I hate Guam. I don't. I hate the politics and the economy and the class system that exists there. I love the island and the people(well some of them anyways).I lived on Guam for 30 years and I've lived in the states for 14 years so I think I can make some kind of comparison. The biggest difference here is that if you don't like your leader you can vote someone else in. On Guam, Well you can get a Calvo Or a Camacho or an Ada or you get it? And it doesn't even matter what party they are. They're all the same. The difference here is that we really can get someone different. What chance do you think Obama would have on Guam if he were running for Governor? Jeero! So I know that I asked this in an earlier post but what is he going to do to make "Your" life better? I still love you sis but I think your barking up the wrong tree.Esta later yan este gupa!

I really wasn't talking to you about Guam but, about Obama.Hey,if movin off island was best for you than shoot. I thought you were alluding to Stateside.Give the man a chance before you shoot him down. That's all. Didn't mean to fluff your feathers up:)
