Take a look at (American) Indian healthcare

If you want a preview of Obama care, take a look at the existing federal healthcare programs. Indian healthcare. VA hospital. Just don't bother looking at the senate and congress plan - we won't be getting that - they will keep it for themselves.

Sean the plan is optional you make keep your private health plan, but if you don't the other option at an affordable rate will be available.

VA... Very Arduous. I would challenge those on the left to look at and study.. in depth, (as far as possible) the governments proposals to control your life.. and your children's life, and your parents lives. Read between the lines, look through the rhetoric and listen very carefully. If the left gets it's way, life in America as we have known it, will cease to exist. How can anyone possibly wish that upon our country?

Okay how will it change for some people life as they know it in America is not all good. I don't think health care for all is change for the bad. And be good I may be your nurse someday. hahahahhaha

Sean, I have dealt with and know many who have dealt with the VA system. They are the last place to go for emergency care. The government does not care about service, but how they look. If Obama gets socialize health care for all American, he will look compassionate, till someone goes to use it. It will be like sitting at the DMV, but only while sick. How is that good for anyone? Remember the pictures of Walter Reed Hospital (I think), with the wounded veterans sitting is filth? That is Government run health care. Go to any VA hospital or retirement home and tell me they have it better than the private care?

Juliet, do you understand they are in a government run health care now. They will only move from one program to another. I am using them as an example of how a government run program works. You would never find those conditions in a private hospital. So, you are saying it is okay to treat our veterans that way and just move them to another system, without fixing the problem?????
I don't think you believe that. Treating our veterans who were seriously wounded in action like they were, then advocating moving them to another government run health care program is ludacris and unfeeling for those who fought for our freedom.

Anyone who saw how the government run health care at Walter Reed Hospital treated our American Heroes then say, it is okay, and we will just move them to another of the same, is down right ridiculous. But I see that is how you liberals want the government to treat the reset of us.
It was a good example of government run care.

Look at Amtrak, Public Housing, DMV, Vocational Rehab, Foster Care,..........
Show me any of these government run systems that are a success. Look at the children put into crack houses. The projects (public housing) are still a den of gangs. Gangland is most prevalent in public housing. Corruption is rampant in all of these places. And you want more corruption!
