Been lurking for a while and decided to come on board. Hope all is well with everyone. I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted with everyone. Matt Tidwell
Hi booniedawg! good name Matt. I don't remember you. Did you move in after 75? Or maybe you were just a little squirt when we were there. Anyway, welcome!
Matt and Johnathan lived in the house that the Tansy's later moved into. Would that be #13? The Sparks lived there too and then they moved next to the Clevelands. Jo you were really little. Maybe Sam remembers that. Matt where did you go after Dean's Circle?
Hey all, Left Dean's Circle for Dededo for a year but then lived in Agat. Left Guam in 1980. Lost contact with the gang between then but got to meet the Yvonne, Jon, and Adam Branch and the Nelsons while in Agat. Some of you know them. Agat had to be my favorite spot but I've always missed most of the Dean's circle gang. Spent 8 years in the Air Force as a Hebrew linguist(two tours in Athens Greece and two tours in the other D.C.) and the last 17 years in Portland, Oregon. Never lived anywhere that wasn't great so I guess I'm lucky. My mom (Leona) has been living with my Partner and me for the last 8 years or so and Jon lives up in Sedro-Wooley, Wa. (Dad passed on in 2003). Thats about it in a nutshell. Hope everyone's doing good. Matt T.
I know the Branch Family very well.Jon's my daughter's Godfather:)His Mom Yvonne tutors her for going back to private school. Nice to hear your story Matt. Oh and Juliet,I'll ask Sam because I don't remember.Hey,I have a pic of all us Sparks' and you down at U.S.O.:) When we were little people...
Matt, sounds like you've had some adventures. AG (after Guam). Rod Duncan, one of us DC rats lived in portland for a while. You two should compare stories. My dad also passed away in 03. My mom in 07. They're all around me though. I bought the house we moved into some 35 yrs ago and here I am.:) Keep on blogging Matt! Good to hear from you.

Yep, the Tidwell's were one of the founding families of our little enclave.

It always amazes me how many DCers ended up in Oregon. What, is there some underground highway between the two I'm not aware of?
