At the end of the circle down the path towords the open field just past the Eldridges house #1 was a water pump house, does anyone remember playing there??

I think that is what we called it. I remember flipping a big switch, thinking that it flushed all the toilets in the circle.
The water tower was closer to GWHS, just north of Acadamy Gardens. Julie, I just visited Google Earth, that little building is not longer there. But I remember it well! As soon as you mentioned it, my memory bank opened right up!
Draculas bathroom? Why of course! We spent endless hours down there jumping from the side of the ditch to the top of the roof of that tin building. Matt Tansey came up with that name. We also used to play war in the jungle behind it. Untill we disturbed a large nest of hornets, we all got stung up. Me in the eyelid. will never forget that. Kinda strange that one of my fondest childhood memories was of playing on top of a sewer pump house. But thats what livin in the circle was all about. Try to explain it to your kids...they will never understand.
