Amy,they all are one thing or another. My old house has bars on all the windows so I can't peek. I should just go early in the morn or call and see if they'll let me in. Yeah,we were smaller then, remember Dean falling out of that tree,we panicked and drug him home:) cuz he wasn't breathing...it's nice we all lived thru those days:)Lol,Joanna p.s. I take my daughter there, she helps me pick the plumeria's,my Dad's favorite.

You've out done yourself again, Paul. This definitely is not the same place I remember. It's like all the life has been sucked out of it.

WOW, it was like I was walking through a ghost town that I lived in. It was backwards. We would have turned left at the bus stop (gone now). It was as if I was there.

Hey, don't you think they were a little late with the bars and all those tall fences. ha

Pat, quit calling me the hood, oh wow.
Hi.

Oh, I was showing this to my wife and I noticed that all the palm trees are gone. Did I miss the rich peaples house as Paul was leaving? Remember they would drive around every now and again to show off there cadi or lincoln what ever the big black car was.

I agree Amy, the houses do look smaller.

Paul,
awesome. So was it the typhoons or some plant hating government workers that have denuded those once beautiful yards?

Joanna said...

We did get some type of virus that left coconut trees bald. Now there is a beetle that bores into the heart and lays larvae which feed on it,killing it. They think it was brought in by crates down at the port and made they're way off to Tumon. They've hung pheromones in buckets everywhere in hopes to attrack them to their death. I hope it works.

Funny thing, my mom was just there this past winter, she said that the old round cement slab our obove ground pool was on is still there behind #3. Trees are gone from the past typhoons. Sad thing isn't it? But seeing this again helps bring the pictures to my minds ear clearer, THANKS!
