Vegas Baby!!!
Okay, get ready all you bikini clad ladies, and pot bellied old men. I will list in the coments the best hotels for our rendezvous (thats rondevue, for those who cant read). Some are expensive, so we need to choose by what we want and (I am not into expensive hotels) how much they cost.

Look on vegas.com for these and other hotels. I have been to Vegas Baby many times. Any questions, email me (its on my profile). If you need my phone #, ask me in the email. The prices will varry with times and which hotel we choose. Some are 5 star and some are 3 star. I enjoy sleeping under the stars, so I will go with what you want (it is cheaper than flying to where we all want to be). Let's remember other peoples buget.
1. HOOTERS--yes there is a Hooters hotel in vegas. Whowever there is only 2 attractions there. Haaaa. So lets look elswhere.
LUXOR--nice hotel, not too expensive (in comperison). No fear of heights though. The rooms line the side of the piramid. Yes the higher you are, the heigher you are suspended.
MANDALAY BAY--very Island like pool.
STRATOSPHERE--not very island like, but cool.
TROPICANA--not a very modern hotel, looks island like, and is probably the cheapest on the list (I have not priced yet, waiting until we get some feed back).
TRESURE ISLAND--more flashy than anything.
WYNN--pribably the most island like, but it is a 5 star hotel. I don't think I can aford such a thing.
Lets all stay in the same hotel.
I agree Drl, we all should stay at the same place...good for you for checking on this...hopefully by august, we'll get it all together
drl,I like the sound of Mandalay Bay,the very island like pool. Is it salty like an island ,pure blue/green water.I want you to know that Steve was laid to rest in a very pristine, beautiful reef side called Hanom in Yigo. His lei kept coming back up....I felt his presence was watching us...God Bless His Soul. Most of my memories were with Steve,I'll never forget him. Lol, Joanna
I have no real preference. If I'm on business I stay at someplace nice. If it's on me I don't care really. I don't plan on spending a lot of time in my room anyway.
We used to go all over the southeast to football games and one of the things we prided ourselves on was to stay in the lowest flea bag hotel you could find.
Gave you the local color, And plus don't go in with high expectations and you won't be disappointed. I'm easy.
That said, I defer the decision to the ladies.
Just let me know when and where so I can put in for the time and find some cheap airfare. And kudos to all of you that have been and are putting in the time trying to arrange this thing. It's not easy, it's a thankless job and we love you for it.
Why stop at the same hotel, DRL? Let's all stay in the same room!!!
What Hotel and room #?You boys or men make me laugh way out here.Damn,I'd do almost anything to go.My husband doesn't want me to work until my girl is older. She has school so,maybe I'll beg:) i'm so wishing to be in driving distance, even a bike,no license though.I just want to be there!
i heard the flamingo was an inexpensive but nice hotel or motel. im not sure how big it is or where it is. god if i had the money we would get a huge master suite that sleeps 25 lol and really live it up in belagios or one of the big ones on the strip.ok i always dream big lol
Amy,you have a great idea,like a slumber party,I guess:)one huge room with all the Dean's Circle Gang...well,we should seperate males and females,right?
August is much better for me because
One: Oct I go to Florida,
Two: August maybe hot but more affordable and
Three: I have no plans for then
Soooo count me in for August.
hmmmm, sounding more interesting by the day.
Lets keep the dream alive!
ric, it doesn't have to be a dream!
Your so right!
Actually, what I was meaning to say, "lets make this dream a reality...Vegas Baby"!
juls, quit talking about dreams, oh no.
Would be nice if Johnny were there too. Hope he can make it! I understand he sings or sang in Las Vegas also! Wouldn't it be nice if we were all hanging out at a lounge and Johnny Commendeered the stage and sang Local Guam Music!
