Hi ya all, Randell dropped me a not this weekend. He wants to join the gang. Can Dave send him an invite??? rbraman@hotmail.com He would be able to hook us up with Percy Espinosa as well.
Juls, I care not if what spell you do. You can speak and spell any way you want, Mark leave your sister alone. As I remember, your mom was a librerian and teacher (I had her at GW) as well as your dad (our dad was a math teacher @ UOG), that proves the apple falls far far away from the the tree. I still have a hard time spelling my name. Mark, Hi.
The invitation has been sent. Juls, the next time you speak with Rand(a)(e)ll, please inquire about Liz and Susan. We would love to have them also join us. Both my parents were teachers and I still don't even have a college degree. Although, I have been to and graduated from the school of hard knocks.
Mark and Julie, I too loved the tribute to your father. As a veteran, I loved the enlistment record, and the solar deal. I remember him building the solar water heater on the roof. Him explaining how it worked, and him in the Pacific Daily News on his roof putting it together. I know you too are so proud of him. I know all of us (Veterans or not) thank him for his service. I was Navy, and in the Idaho National Guard. But I still say GO NAVY. Oh yea, Navy beat Army.....AGAIN!
Well, although I am willing to be called anything but late for supper, I appreciate Mark's attention to detail (he used to correct me when I would spell Jaquette with a "c").
Incidentally, I had both Jaquette parents as teachers...Mrs. Jaquette at GW for the History of the Philippines, and Mr. J for Math for Elementary School Teachers at UOG. I didn't know what a bagel was until I took the class from Mr. Jaquette. How that came up in a math class, I don't remember...but none of the locals in the class nor I (the one chamaole) had ever heard of a bagel. Thank you Mr. Jaquette!
Hi Ric...or is it Rick? Mark, can you help us? Anyway, the last time I remember seeing you was at the Bank of Hawaii (formerly the Bank of America) right before you shipped off to somewhere. Anyway, I'm glad we both made it back. Thanks.
Hi Randall Braman. I remember your father very well,he was a kind and and gentle soul.He was like my Dad's best friend,Dr.Blair Sparks.I hope all is well with you and your family:)
Hey Randell, When I last saw you at the bank, I was getting shipped of to 'boot camp'! What fun! I recommend it for everyone. I actually arrived at 'boot camp' on the night of October 31st, Halloween night. Can you imagine the fun the 'Drill Sgt.'s' had with us new recruites! It is a night that i'll alway charish!
Wow, it feels weird to be getting all this attention...so I better take advantage of it while I can.
Thanks Joanna, for the nice words about my father. He's still alive and well at 82 and living on Guam. I relayed your message to him, and he was glad to know that someone remembers him as a "kind and gentle soul."
Ric, my sisters are doing fairly well too. Elizabeth (Liz), the one just a year and a half older than me, lives with her husband and 5-year-old son in Marin County, just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.
Susan, three years older than me, is doing relatively okay. Her husband is having some serious health problems and they are in Seattle right now while he is receiving medical treatment. They normally live in Maryland, right outside of D.C...not "Dean's Circle" but the "District of Columbia." So there you have it.

Mark, Hi.
Correct spelling sucks man! Never could figure out how to spell myself, or is that selve?

Mark, loved the tribute to your Dad! Really enjoyed viewing it! What a man, husband, grandfather and father that he was!
Randell Braman! Randell, hope to hear from you soon on this blog.

Mark, as a former enlisted man myself, I love what your father did for his Service to our Country!

Thanks Juliet, DRL and Ric for your support, I know my brother is just teasing me. It is ok, I figure if he didn't care, he would ignore me
Thanks for honoring our father by checking out his page. Yes we are very proud of him and miss him ver much.
Juls can you give me the direct link to your fathers page, I seem to have missed that. Is it posted on the blog somewhere?
Here it is: http://users.rio.com/bamm/illustrationISM/dad.html

Randell, thanks for the update! Give Liz a big 'hello' from me next time you give you a ring! Let Susan know that her husband is in our prayers!
Dave, the 'School of Hard Knocks' is the highest education anyone can achieve, and probably the most respectable one...to boot!
Most acredited college degrees are just good fire-place starters.
Randell, still play the strings?
