Paul, we missed you there! As well as the others that could not make it! I was hoping that you would be there so that I could apologize in person for helping distroy your ort behind the apartment that you all lived in. (I did apologize to anouther that attended the reunion for something that I said to her that I did not remember saying, but most likely did say. I must have been a real bad apple back in the day?

It was great seeing and spending time with you all. It was almost cathartic reliving some of the old memories of the OOG's. Matt you are now the official Blog poet. And your beautiful wife Benita is a Godsend. Robert has a beautiful family and thank the Lord I had at least one fellow conspiracy theorist there with me. Becki is like the finest looking 50 some year old you'd ever want to see. Cindy is the same deep, introspective, considerate thinker she always. Chicks with brains are soooo sexy. Sean, Ric & DRL even though we didn't hang together back in the day just being there together was nice and I'm glad we all made it. I had this vague and probably unfounded feeling that someone was going to say something inappropriate (most likely me) and that would lead to an unfortunate and regrettable exchange. We think differently about some things but we all agree I think that we share that common bond of an island upbringing. Juls thanks for your efforts in putting this all together. Your friend Jenny is a hoot too. I hope your ear feels better. Rod we were all grateful for your path finding skills during our pilgrimage to the New York New York piano bar. And Dave what can we say but that none of this would ever of happened if you and Cindy hadn't started looking us all up after all these years. Who ever would have thought that such a distinguished member of our aimless and adrift pack of boonie rats would have turned out as you did. We love you and we are proud of you and don't forget Big Brother is watching.
I didn't get out of Vegas until 1AM Vegas time and arrived in Atlanta 7AM Eastern. I couldn't sleep for shit on that plane. For some reason Delta thought it would be good idea to show a movie in the middle of the night and my seat was near the large screen and it was really bright. I had to put on my sunglasses. Then there was some jerkoff in the row behind me that literally hacked and coughed the entire flight, it was like he was going to hack up a lung at any minute. I was tired and it was really bothering me and I felt like asking him if maybe he shouldn't have taken a medivac instead.
By the time we got to Atlanta I was sleep deprived to near the point of hallucination which was actually kind of cool.
Patsy I didn't even retrieve your message until I got back to Tallahassee. I'll call you soon. I missed you.
Time for bed.

Like wise Doug, it was good getting to hang with you too, even though back in the day I was just a little rug rat to you.

Not only is Becki hot, so is Cindy!

Doug, wow, good one. I too enjoied all conversation (Becki, I still cant spell), I have to appologise for making the atmosphere one that would make any of us hold our toung(that didn't look right ether).

Hey Doug, how did you know it was time for Pat to go to bed? You are like astoplane man.

Doug, I am kinda mystified, by you. Although I have no childhood memories of you, I felt like you let me into the older group of the DC family when we met (maybe for the first time) in the hall getting ice from the ice machine. Who'd of thunk that the first person I saw in Vegas was you. You are a cool and unique houlie.

I just got home today and have been enjoying the videos and comments. I miss you all already.

I can't even begin to say how much I enjoyed spending the weekend with all of you. I laughed and smiled so much my jaw was sore. I got to go to the Chamorro restaurant yesterday..the lumpias were great but the rest of what I had could not even compare to the fabulous food that Benita and Mat prepared, so don't feel bad that we didn't get to go on Sunday.

Mat and Benita, thanks for being such great hosts of the suite and for providing us with such a fantastic fiesta. Mat is an amazing story teller...so funny.

I think we all have aged very well and as a former boy crazy Dean Circle girl I can say that all the guys are still very cute.

Juls, the gift exchange turned out to be alot of fun, the passing around of the Boone's Farm bottle was a highlight of the weekend I'll always remember. Thank you for all the planning and organizing you did including the great shirts.

Dave, thank you for sharing your videos with all of us, very awesome, I got choked up watching them...we all are very proud of you. I'm so glad that you found me on Classmates and we all have made this connection with each other. I feel like a missing part of me has been found again.

Ric, thank you for bringing Theresa, she was so much fun, fit right in to the group...you are a lucky man...she needs to have her own sign on now that she is an honorary member of the DC gang.

RAC, I loved getting to spend some time with you and your family, let's not let so much time go by before we see each other again, little brother.

Ric, DRL, Sean, Rod and Juls..You were little when I was in the circle and I only knew the Larson-Perdew family as a babysitter and I sure enjoyed getting to know all of you and hearing your stories..Sean thanks for organizing the store run on Sat so we had enough food and drinks to finish off the leftovers and didn't have to go out anywhere to eat. Rod, it was great fun following you around to New York, New York (girls, you know what I mean by that one), DRL...you're a great dancer..

My only regret was there wasn't enough time for me to get to go see the Thunder From Down Under (yes, I know I'm still the boy crazy girl from the circle)

I didn't get to say good bye to a couple of you ( Dave and Rod) but I hate good byes anyway. I think the First Dean Circle reunion was a huge success and I certainly hope that it won't be the last. I love you all....

Cindy, I too hate good byes. It was so good to see and mingle with all of you! My wife had a blast, and thanks for making her an 'honorary member' of the Dean's Circle gang! She was really impressed with everyone, and can't beleive what wonderful people I grew up with.

If the RAC'Meister or Dave would like to send her an invitation to the blog (same e-mail Dave and RAC, hint, hint, hint), I am sure she would be honored to accept. She reads the blog all the time! Thinks every one of you are super people! So do I!

I have to agree with all the wonderful emotions expressed in this thread. The weekend was a huge success by any measure. My only regret is I didn't get to spend as much time with the group as I would have liked (next reunion will be sans children I can assure you). I also am sorry I didn't get to say proper good-byes to Rod, Ric and Theresa.

This really is a great group of people and it's wonderful we have our island experience to draw us together. Given the success of our first official event, I say it's never too early to start planning the next gathering of the tribe.

Yee Haw Baby It was really awesome seeing everyone again. Thanx for the memories! Like the Macys thanksgiving days parade, we should start planning the next one.Dave, Benita says Hey(wink, wink)
