The cup run'eth deep. Pre-Deans Circle days goes back to Idaho

So many, many, moons ago, like around the year 1972/3 or 4, we, the Perdew/Larson family were living in another small Circle, '309 Abbatt street in Moscow, Idaho'. The Kalb family were stateside visiting or traveling through Idaho. Our family (Perdew/Larson at the time) met up with the Kalb family in northern Idaho. It was during the month of July.

My step father (the late great Dr. Paul M. Perdew) was good fiends with Mr. Kalb, from his previous residence on Guam.

Mat or Becki, do you remeber that trip?

I remember one fine Summer day back in the mid 70's Harry Heafer and his sister showed up at my door. We spent the day together, his parents came and got them and I never saw or heard from them again.

So many people have come and gone into and out of our lives over the years. It is nothing short of a miracle to be back in touch with all of you, from the Dean's Circle days. And who could ever forget Desi?

I had to have been on that trip because I always travelled with my dad. Unfortunately I don't have the memory Mat does. I'm going to go to my Mom's this weekend and see if I can't dredge up some old photo's. My dad was a big photo buff. Hopefully there is some stuff you guys will enjoy.

Becki, I never made the trip myself. I chose to stay at home for some reason. Why? Don't know? It was around the 4th of July weekend in 1971.

It was only memorable to me because it was my birthday weekend. I was being watched by my parents friends, next door. I also took out a car windshield by throwing rocks at cars with a fellow law breaker. That was my first and last brush with the law.

After all of these years, I wish I would have made that trip.

I do remeber my family coming back and telling me about meeting you all and eating at a diner. Then they saw the police report. I got few gifts that year. But they did no punish me since I did not leave the scene after busting the guys windsheild.

Desi, Sean, Dave and Steve all met up with you all.
