I am one of the younger ones of the bunch but, I do know Coco Joe. He told me that he dated Desi. Victor Torres is famous for his windsurfing abilities...I windsurfed a long time but, he is the master, duck jibe right in front of me...sooo cool. Also, kim Aiken was always around but,I haven't seen him lately(for the ones looking for him)
wow, these are some names from the past...zzzzzzw I went to ND but graduated from JFK to finish early.
Johnny,
you being our resisent musical artist, what did you think of the "I don't look good" song?
I was a diver, not a surfer, and I went to GW. But, I was woundering about Chuck Wright. Does that ring a bell?
Swingy---a surfing friend
The Clarks -- was there also a brother named Burns ?
Mark Clark -- I was a skinny kid back in the day, Mark used to tell me to
eat as many hamburgers as i could,
Every time eat about 7 or 8 cheeseburgers ,as many as you can...
I heard something happened to him...I know he was a teacher...
I don't know what that song "I don't look good". Nevah heard of it. Chuck Wright? No, I don't recognize that one.
Juliet!! Of course these names are from the past .... Totally !
Victor & I started surfing together from day #1. He hated traveling though, so I went on all the surf trips while he stayed back on Guam. I was gonna meet up with him on Oahu on one of those windsurfing contests, but we never did hook up.
Chuck Wright, did he graduate from G.C.C.? Did he kind of have a big nose and hung out with Robert Ryan and Jon Branch?
Yeah, BURNS Clark was the youngest of the Clark boys. Neighbors were Erick & Ron Edwards.
Barney Clark now rides a Harley and grew a beard. Mark Clark is out in Oregon somewhere. That Mark actually saved my life once, during a big surf day out at Merizo. I got knocked out after a bad wipeout, my board got caught in the rip tide and was well on its way out to see ... never saw it again. Mark got me on his stick and we paddled in. I'll never forget his kindness & courage to get my okole out of that freakin' choppy channel at Merizo.
