Oh yes, Mr. Kalb and my stepfather Paul Perdew were good friends prior to us moving to Guam in '74. Dad lived in Guam prior to us moving there. Mr. Kalb and family actualy visited our family in Idaho prior to us moving to Guam.
Mr. Kalb was one of the best teachers I ever had. It was the first time I ever liked math. I remember that he always liked to take pictures of people wearing a goofy hat at parties at their house and he loved collecting those glass Japanese fishing floats. The Kalbs actually lived here in Fort Myers at one time before moving to Guam, and when Becky came to visit last time we went riding around and found their old house.
