Heck, I use to use Tupperware myself, doing my own haircuts. Back then (1970's) it was either that or some rice bowl. Most of the surfers on Guam and Oahu were doing the rice bowl haircut via the same technique. Was cheap yah?!
At least you had hair. My dad liked to give us crew cuts. He left a patch in the front one time, that was the only time. It is funny, all our pic's have us with hair.
You all look like Angels. Your mother must have had nerves of steel the accidents alone would have finished me off. My sons probably wished I had used a bowl.
Our mom wasn't that incredible, She just didn't know all we were up to. Now my Dad, He was incredible! Especially when dave and Chris would come home ...under the influence to put it nicely.
Pat, probably the reason I was always leaning, was because I was so trashed I could barely stand up. See prime example of Dan's comment about my Dad, in my comment listed in the "Island Brew" post. Dan, you hit the nail right on the head.

I think my Mom was the one who gave us our haircuts back then. We used to beg her to not cut off too much.
Looks like she had the same Tupperware bowl my Mom had.

Hey, Dave, I've never seen that picture before! Where'd you find it?
funny...too cute
Dave, every pic of you, you are leaning to the right. I think mama left more hair on that side.
This is how I remember you all. Your poor sister..having all those brothers to torture her.
That's how I remember you, too. Your mom really was incredible, what a crew!
