Just to start everyone thinking...maybe something like this is what we could think about for the next reunion. I'm headed to Tennessee tomorrow. No baby yet..she's waiting for her Mema to get there..lol I'll send pictures.
Destin Fl consistently voted among top 10 beaches in US. It ain't the island but it will do. Like Paul said beach front would be even better. St George Island plantation has some really nice places. Not toooo terribly touristy but still plenty of local watering holes. Either one of these would be a trek for our brothers and sisters on the left coast.
If Florida is the next elected place for the Dean's Circle reunion, lets do it either in the winter, spring or fall months, were it is at least tolerable...summer in Florida just is way to hot. But it must be at a time when we can all enjoy the ocean!
Beach house sounds great! Lets start planning now!
This looks great, I am for it, keep us updated on the baby and places for the next DC 2nd.
Hey, I liked reading about the house. Children (my mental state) welcome. Suitable for Elderly (ha haa haaa haaaaa haaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaa).
On a sad note, while I was gone, one of my co-workers wife died. She was taking pills for kidney stones, and vomited. She choked, and sufficated. She was only 30, and they have a 3 year old girl. When I talked to him today, he said "just go home and hug Jill". His is a pain I never want to experience. So every one go home and hug the first person you see, don't stop till you get them all.
DRL, that is just way too sad. What a terrible tragedy.I am still in Tenn, we are having lunch at Arbey's right now using my daughter's laptop and their WiFi. No baby yet..she is being induced tonight..was supposed to go last night but hospital called at last minute and cancelled because they did not have any beds. It's beautiful here, I'm having a great time spoiling the grandkids and freaking out driving on these winding mountain roads. Will be back home on Thursday.
Cindy, thank you. But on a serious note (B#), get her jogging, or take her on a ride on some bumpy back road, or jumping jacks. Get that baby out here. Oh, what would have happend if she were to go into labor herself, and no beds. Have it on the waiting room couch. Tenn is one of the prettiest (Becki spell check for me) states there are. Just too hot and humid.

I think I could handle that! Tropical!
I like the idea of renting a house on the beach that has plenty of beds and room!
The house looks good but its not on the beach. It's more like up the street from the beach.
Well, as long as the beach is in stumbling distance...it works for me! ;)
Does anyone remember how to surf or body surf? Maybe its like riding a bike, you never forget?
Yes Ric, body surfing is like riding a bike. Getting up on a board may be a different story.

If we're going to Florida, why not a little farther south in the Caribbean?
Florida in the fall, winter or sping is fine with me!

I think Florida would be a fabulous choice. Count me in.
I-feel-an-island-is-out-for-most.It's-expensive,even-to-Hawaii.Some-I-believe-will-make-it.I'm-looking-forward-to-an-island-reunion,whereas-we-are-from-an-island:)

Sorry Joanna for our lack of responce to your post? I too have been very busy, as I am sure the rest of us misfists have been.
And yes, an island would be ideal! Time, place and money will all play a part in the next reunions location. (Guam would be the ultimate site).
