American journalists came home.

Anyone see the coverage of the american journalists finally coming home to their families? They were sentenced to 12 years, hard labor for crossing the border. Former Pres. Clinton made the connection. He got them home! happy ending.

so, he just popped over to North Korea and through the magnificence of his personality convinced them to release them? Wow, that's amazing.

I'm glad their coming home, but wonder what it cost us. At the very least, we have legitimized that little shit by sending a ex-US president to meet with him. But I doubt that's the extent of it.

Clinton didn't look very happy to be there, but there was a big smirky smile on Kim Jong-Il's face.
What ever happened over there, Al Gore is sure glad to have his 'reporters' back home.

Yes and I think they should both foot the bill for all the expenses to get them out. After all they said they intentionally and illegally crossed over the boarder. Lisa Ling's sister and her S.Korean friend/reporter are not too swift and should really get some negative press for putting our country in the position of having to "negotiate" for their release. I can not imagine if they were doing some intelligence work what would have been up in that area. I think the proceeds from their book deal should go to pay for any time and money spent on their behalf. Couple of second rate reporters.

Do you think our allies in South Korea and Japan are "positive" that we sent our Ex President to meet with that "little shit"? He's got legitimacy now. He's posting photos all over the internet standing with Clinton. Now he's legit!

Do you know that North Korea has kidnapped hundreds of South Koreans and Japanese over the years? Has this latest action by the white house helped or hindered efforts by our allies to secure the return of their citizens?

And, of course, WE DON'T NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS!

Pat, you are having exactly the reaction BO wants - it feels good, so be happy.

Yeah listen,
we can't have people doing things that feel good or make them happy.

I'm not understanding what the costs to the U.S. were other then "legitimizing" North Korea. Honestly though I don't think that if we just ignored them they would've gone away. Perhaps a few tillion dollars to bomb a neighboring country like Japan or South Korea into the dark ages would've made the point and then without the competition we could rebuild Detroit......Actually, its probably just time to up my meds.

Yes, something happened in America that felt good! Sorry Sean if that makes YOU feel bad.
