Could somebody please define " Fishy "

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Smells and lacking in factual data, appealing to an emotional level not a logical one.

Does the word SNITCH come to mind?

No one likes a snitch.
Probably should've just tapped their phones, had the FBI keep track of them as subversives, asked the Postal carriers to monitor their members, Swift boat them, etc etc. If we cant say anything else for the new administration at least there is suddenly a call for an ethical approach to politics.

Fishy is a guy that has no job and no money and a broken down car. okay. I admit, Cinderella syndrom here....geez, how many years before you learn?

Fishy to me means someone that is borderline paranoid even after 30 years of service to different Presidents. Where is the common sense here? Big Brother is watching you ALL the time.Refer to Juliet's post for further information.

Working for the government for 30 years has made me very paranoid of them. They are very fishy (using Juliet's definition)
