Doug, you remember where this was?. Cindy asked me and I said u would know. you were there that day. I think that fence was a pig fence.
Who all was in this picture? Was that Nancy's moon, with Alice on the right and Wendy sitting down? It looks like a scene out of survivor.

I THINK it was back behind the neighborhood in the woodroses, not too far from your house. Does anyone remember the massive tree fort that was built in a giant banyan tree out that way? It would have been not far from there. It was constructed with lumber & nails appropriated from all over the block. I remember my dad coming around bitching to me about what happened to all his goddam nails & boards.
Huh what nails and boards dad?
Wendy fell out of that fort one time, damn near killed her.
That was a terrible day. Wendy and Alice and I were up in the "tree House" hammering on the boards. The board we were sitting on slipped and we all fell out of the tree. I think the hammer fell on her head or she fell on her head. she had a deep gash to the brain and I remember we walked through the boonies and Mrs. Caraway heard us yelling and walked Wendy all the way down to her house. She was covered in blood. I'll never forget it. I think she was in the hospital for a month.
Juliet, I remember that, though I think I was gone somewhere that day,I remember Moms version. the other day I was showing her my album and she remembered that day. Ofcourse she had to get down on herself cause she thought she did the wrong thing!! I could'nt believe her. reminded her it was good she was near and nobody knew how serious it was. Wendy was a trooper though....always loved her even more after that.
Ladies, consider yourselves blessed. God does not make chicks like you all in this photo anymore.
