Actually, I think you guys were all too busy following Nancy Sickler in her bikini around to pay much attention to me...until I could drive and had my own car...then you asked for rides. One year though, when we first moved to the Circle, and I was his and Robert's babysitter, Jeff Jones had a little crush on me. It was around a week before Christmas and every day he would leave me a little gift outside our door. It was very sweet.
And you went off and married Forrest Gump!

LOL cindy, that was worth repeating forsure! doug, read your blog about the water tower..u beat me to it! all these memories come pouring back. can you believe we are all still alive?? the dangerous shit we used to do..OMG.
Maybe that is why we all survived...we learned how to.
oh, dumb me...that was little jeff who posted that...see cindy, he's still sooo sweet.
Well we sure learned how the heck to make our own fun, and if it was a little dicy so much the better.
And I think you have a good point, we learned more traipsing around those boonies than any classroom ever could have taught.
And I really am glad we're all still alive to realize how lucky we are to still be alive.
By the way everyone I'm going to be in Chicago next week on business so if I don't post don't freak I'll be back at some point late in the month at which time I look forward to seeing who else has come out of the woodwork.
Take good care everyone!
Jeff, you left the island and grew up without me. And very nicely at that. It looks like you have a beautiful family and a good life. It's so great that you have found your way on here. Welcome. And now that I think about it, I was probably first attracted to my husband because he looked like the guys from my past ..a little too much time in the sun, wearing jeans, flipflops, and tropical-print cotton shirts.
