Honda 80

Does anyone remember the Honda 80 with doughnut like tires the Larson's had, and the Honda 75 the Spark's had? I learned how to shift gears on th Honda 80.

Suzuki RV90,

Honda trail 50

Man did we work those bikes over or what ,

The suzuki 90 was dismantled and then modified for Sammy Sparks' red go cart, up in Utah .
(Pete and his welder.) That go-kart rocked..

Suzuki RV90? Where did I ever get Honda 80 from? And you are so right, it was a Honda 50 instead of the Honda 75?

I crashed more times on that Suzuki 90 with its balloon tires, than I ever crashed on my KX500 with its out of control power-band.

Hey, Dave, I traded that go-cart to Randy L, so it's somewhere in Sacramento, if you can find it!

Is/was Sam Sparks and Chris Larson in Utard(Utah) as well?
As I've said, I am in south east Idaho.

I remember that bike very well - it almost killed me one day. I was headed towards the bus stop at full speed when the throttle stuck. Rather than take evasive action, I panicked and decided the best way to stop was to ride head first into the side of the bus stop. Not my best plan ever. Like the Larson’s old dirt tracker, I think it broke in half a couple days later.

The RV90 climbed coconut trees too..Eh Chris.
I could never figure out (at the time) why I couldn't keep up with Jeff Jones when riding in the coconut field. His was a 90??

Well, I remember this particular bike, and it barely kept up with my punky little Honda 70..Ok, Maybe.. How about the cool car Pete bought, chopped off the doors, knocked out the windows, and made it into a boonie basher..We ran that think around a loop behind the Larsons, if I remember right..Dave? Pete?

That RV90 had a hard time keeping up with anything! Those big balloon tires would bounce along and it took everything you had to hang on.

Now the car (Datsun station wagon) was cool. I traded my half of an old Kawasaki 125 that didn't run to Matt Kalb for that car. I remember running it around that track until we couldn't see a thing because of all the red dust, but that didnt slow us down any. Then it finally broke in half...the fun was over.

To all the people who rode motorbikes, like Sam and Alice also, are lucky to be alive. That field is now a lot smaller but, I can mentally picture everyone racing around. I'll take a picture of the field of dreams soon. For my daughter's Christmas Gift, we bought her a motorcycle but, she goes slow. The bike can't go fast.Like my Dad I guess:)
