Pet Cemetery

I've seen some of the neighborhood pets mentioned recently and thought we should pay them some respects. It's a pretty good guess they are no longer with us. Maybe we can immortalize them here with a story or two about their lives.

The Caraway's had Molly, an Australian Boxer (whatever that is). She was a great dog and ended up coming back to the states with us. Molly had a habit of jumping from very high places - like a the Marine Lab wall.

I remember the Sparks had a little yapping white poodle. It must have been pretty fast because Mrs. Sparks took it for a walk tied to the door handle of her car one day. She made it all the way to the top of the block before someone finally flagged her down. That was some funny stuff.

How about the cat we had and when it was decided that you had asthma and were allergic to it, Dad took the cat and dropped it off somewhere on the other side of the island. That darn cat was like Lassie, found his way back home weeks later. And what about the pig we had that Pat won in a contest? It made a racket whenever it heard the refrigerator door open. When it got big, Dad gave it away to a family up the road and I think it ended up being the honored guest at their next fiesta. I have a pic of you guys with it.

We can't forget King. He was the Literal King of all neighborhood dogs, and cats. The sparks had Two Poodles a black one and a small white one. Who was that guy that walked his wiener dog around the block occasionally? He was built like the Governor of California. Was his name Chris?
Our animals: Puppy, Chickens (to fuel the VW) Licorice, Pig (a dog), Kitty, and Kitty, and Kitty, and Kitty, and Oops, a brick fell on that one...
