The Boat "SPAM" rings a bell in my memory. Don't recall it visually. The boat seems awfully big to be in the boat basin. What type of vessel was she? What work did you do with her?

Hey Ric,
I did several things: built a custom Flybridge; replaced electrolytes, pounded Okum into the hull, replaced sister-ribs, helped John install a Chevy motor that came from a Bus..the bus that dropped when being unloaded from a ship down at the Commercial Port; replaced that motor's cooling system with a saltwater exchange; built inside decks; etc., etc.,

Kirk Sellers use to drive up in his green El Camino just to watch me & John work. And then at party time on some weekends, Kirk would be braggin' about how much work he did on the SPAM....he didn't do crap...just stood there and watched. Oh well, that was then.

I moved to Oahu by the time this 55-foot American Hull launched from Agana Boat Basin. Johnny Perez was the on-site crane operator who did the in/out hauling.
